|
|
I did a pulled cards and did a layout for myself... I pulled all Major Arcana cards even though all cards had been cleared before the shuffle and cutting and all cards in the deck were used. They are as follows:
Hanged Man
Star
Lovers
Hermit
World
High Pristess
Heirophant
Magician
Moon
Tower
Is anyone adept at reading Tarot? (Can use the Celtic Cross layout)
I want an objective reading ... I may read too much into my own layout. |

i think that for you to get a clear reading you would have to be with a tarot card reader in person 1 card can have have many dif meanings so its all up to what the reader sences in your presence/energy to find the meaning of what each card could mean to you n since its online prob woulnt give you a acurate reading |

I do agree with you, KittyKay...
I started to read regular playing cards (cartomancy?) when I was in college... a long time ago... I was (with a regular Bicycle Deck) and am (with my Merlin Tarot Deck) pretty accurate in my readings... though I am not a 'professional'...
I do not normally do my own personal reading, because I feel that I 'read' too much into the cards... therefore I am not reading them 'objectively'.
Just wanted 'impressions' or insight by anyone else who reads Tarot... I have been very difficult to 'read' by others in the past... one on one.
So, again, I am just asking someone's objective feelings about the Major Arcana Cards that I pulled.... I want to 'compare' my 'insights' to theirs. |

im a new tarrot card reader to but first you need to knw you cards and feel them to
i like to play a game put your cards facedown then try to feel if its a mayor arcana card or a normal one then see how many you have right then afterwards do a reading but dont use your instructions book try to see what its trying to tell you tarrot cards should be tapped whenever someone else touched it or after you finshed your reading to get rid of negatuve energies and also be in a calm mood before doing any readings |

Did you actually have a question, was this about a relationship? |

Basically, the question was only about my life and what was going to happen... just to get some insight.... not anything in particular (like a relationship)
I use the Merlin Deck.
When I read for others I am pretty accurate...
I know that when I read for 'myself', I have a tendency to "shade" the reading by my thoughts and emotions.... You know .... See what I want to see... rather than what is. |

Chrysalis,
I have employed the cards for many years and have worked with many other readers. What I can offer is the "textbook" interpretation of certain cards in your reading.
Hanged Man as your first card - feelings of vulnerability, a sense of exposure; sensitivity.
Moon card 2nd to last position - a repeated message of emotional vulnerability, changeable, possibly chaotic moods, a need to get grounded and centered. From a spiritual perspective a suggestion to remove oneself from the wheel of emotional bondage and Karma and attain a greater degree of stability and self control.
Tower Card Last - Most readers consider the Tower to be a "severe" card. As "Final Outcome" this is a call to change the direction of your life before it is too late. A message to take personal responsibility and choose a path or a direction for yourself that is less stressful or risky.
Taken together, these cards suggest that you have much work to do, that you should seek a more balanced approach to your life and work on creating more inner and outer harmony in your life circumstances.
Blessed Be!

Now that's kinda interesting
For me, I'd get "Knowledge gained through Sacricfice" from the Hanged Man,

I am a Tarot reader of 15 years experience and although I don't have a Merlin Deck on me, considering the general interpretations of each card in a traditional Celtic Cross spread... just getting surface impressions, here's my free opinion.
Anytime all cards present in a spread are Major Arcana in an upright position it usually indicates a profound reading with active energies present. A second reading often follows a reading like this to focus and clarify on matters because usually readings like this speak of many important subjects as opposed to any one specific matter.
For example: The indication of the Tower certainly speaks of an event of upheaval and rebuilding after some radical change or transition in your life. But the Lovers card, Moon card, and Heirophant, High Preistess, and Magican cards seem to relate more with your personal spiritual and intuitive growth and development and the presence of spiritual influences and the strength of your tools and skills. I cannot, without having the specific Merlin cards in front of me, see the direct connection between the transition and the effect it will have on you. However, there may indeed have been a cause and effect relationship.
The Hermit would indicate an emotional and developmental crossroads and the desire to gain some direction and to see the destination ahead as clearly as possible. Another interpretation I sometimes get is that the Hermit symbolizes an introvert on a spiritual quest or an old soul who seeks to provide counsel. The presence of the Hermit may have a connection to the High Priestess in the sense that there are similar sources of influence playing off each other--one offering a more masculine essence and the other an obviously more feminine influence.
Just food for thought. |
