hellos & wondering....

I recently had my palm read. I was able to ask 2 questions, in which i only really asked 1. "am i on the right path with my current relationship?"
The response was not yes or no. I was told, my spirt is broken, and has been for the past 3-4 years when i lost a love. ([i][i]i was engaged to be married, we were together for 8 years on and off. we broke up due to trust issues following love dying. we were each others first love. SUPEr emotional)[/i][/i]
I thought my spirit was right on track. She also stated i did not "fully recover". Also, i have to find the core of what is making me anxious, nervous and paranoid. She wanted to do an "overnight meditation healing process" but i did not do it.
So i guess my question is: what do yo think she ment about my spirit? and how do i go about healing.

I wasn't there when your palm was read but, as a palmist with 40 years of experience, I can make an educated guess.
Many times, when important relationships end, especially for negative reasons such as problems with trust, we're left wounded, carrying what I call "old luggage" which are beliefs or lessons we've brought away from this experience.
This "old luggage" may be good for us or not. It may help us or not. But we continue to carry it with us, because we're used to it or because we think it'll help us when it may actually hurting us.
For instance, if a woman breaks up with a man because he is unfaithful, she may believe after that that all men are unfaithful. This is an untrue belief( some men are faithful and some are not, just like women) but its what she's taken away from her previous relationship and it has the potential to sabotague her future relationships....
I'm not saying all "old luggage"is untrue. Many times,our experience teaches us things that help us have better lives. Sometimes, though, we take away a destructive belief instead
So with old luggage, you gotta look at what you're carryiing and,if it doesn't serve you-put it down Wink

Thank you! that was extremely helpful. I gues my "luggage" is the fear of my now mate, falling out of love with me because i might not be good enough. Which is what happened in my past relationship.

I can see a few ways of ridding myself of that; one way is to trust with my heart and keep an open mind.
