I don't know if anybody knows about Logokinesis, but it is my namesake. I discovered a while ago that whenever i met someone foreign i could immediately place their language, accent and dialect of that language. I also have a knack for learning languages. I wish to know whether i am just extremely good with languages or it is a gift of my subconcious mind. Does anyone have any insight?

because most langueges are based off of tone, candances, patterns, and so on, like music is.
It holds the same properties, so just like being able to tell differances in different song compositions, genres and peices, you can also tell differences in langueges and dialects, solong as you are exposed to them in order to hear how they sound.
Yeah, that's not all that clear... okay:
By having an ear for music you can also have an ear for languege as languege, like music, is multitonial.
It's just a talent and a skill set.

I would like to suggest looking into Cabala the phonetic(not qabbalah/kabbalah).

Phonetic cabala "the instinct or voice of nature, a lost key to the mysteries, the language of the Gods and the language of the birds".

Umm... if he can just look it up, then it's not a very "Lost key to the mysteries" now, is it?

Or is it something that discribes that it's out there, comfirms it's exsistance, but it's not depicted or explained where people can understand and use it?

It is not so much that, being a stranger in a strange land, you "maigcally" seem to understand eachother. It's more that you start paying attention to subtle clues and gestures that you would otherwise ignore because of comprehension of language. or even start using gestures that you would otherwise not make because there'd be no need to convay communication in such a way. granted, some are more adept than others.

It's no more magical than waving a pencil between your fingers to make it look like it's made of plastic... looks impressive when you do it, but it's a feat that even a child of five can accomplish.

You have to remember that, while some values are held as differently as regional customs are, people are, deep down, the same everywhere, despite the language spoken.

Update: Methinks it is something tangible. I have now learned an extra 5 languages Sad

It is a lot worse than that. It is kind of an instant translation thing. It is completely involuntary. I could be talking in English, then think about another language then start accidentally talking in that language. And the last count is now 6 languages. Sad
