I just stumbled on this site from a Yahoo search - glad I did!

To tell a little about myself I've been a long time seeker. I don't have any particularly active or developed abilities per say on the order of mediumship or clairvoyance/audience/etc. but I am in a position where I would like to do anything possible to come in closer contact with my Source, get to know the ins and outs of why I'm here, and understand what living my life to the fullest really means direct from those who helped set me in motion.

To give a brief overview of myself I was raised catholic, from there ping-ponged between Eastern and slightly esoteric philosophies and agnosticism/atheism throughout my 20's, believed I'd settled permanently in the later until I found some thing out in the last four months that took me off that path for good. During my research while I was looking for more personal direction in the data I spoke with a national-level psychic who mentioned that my guides were stating that I needed to write and teach - a little bit daunting being that I'm just learning (or re-learning) the basics, but writing an online diary of the process I believe could be helpful. As of right now I've done enough reading of hermetic writings and theosophy that I think I'm starting to get the general idea but am still trying to sort out the details of what makes sense to me and what doesn't.

I probably won't be posting too much here at least for a while. Still I may have a few questions occasionally. It looks like this site could be an incredible knowledge base for personal application as I see loads of fascinating topics. My goal is to awaken myself as much as I possibly can and see how far in a positive direction I can take things. Smile
