Hello everyone,

I just joined and this is my first post.

I would like to find out the real Babaji from a possible fake Babaji?

Has anyone heard of Swami Aliyananda? She says she is his direct diciple, and found him in India via a telephone call. I didn't think it was possible for Babaji to be around a telephone, but anything is possible, I suppose. She has a picture of a Babaji I've never seen before, and he is an older man.

I feel Swami Aliyananda has good intentions, it's the questions about Babaji that I have to find out about. Real or not, or maybe it doesn't matter?

I have had three encounters with Babaji, and I am meditating and praying for an answer. Maybe one of you can help.

When I first began meditating in a group, way back in the early 80's, Babaji was one of my first contacts with spirit as I didn't have much of a father. The basic intent of the group was to contact and learn how to work with our I AM Selves. Because lower entities can masquerade, feed our egos, and play havoc with our lives, we were also taught how to make sure we were clear, and that the "source" we were dealing with was of the I AM. To that affect, as a group, we would ask to make sure that person was clear and as well as ask to be given a signal, a sign, to us and them, in the body that could be checked. All members had to have a clear go ahead before the information was trusted. Also we were taught, that if it were of the Holy Spirit, the I AM, a guide per se, it could be tested again and again and again, over a period of weeks, months even, with out it changing or being different. God doesn't lose patience. Also apparently, the Devil can not feign peace.

I think of Babaji as an ascended master - one who knows himself as part of the I AM consciousness - and thus think he could be in any or all of us, much as Jesus, Mother Mary, and many others can. It is sort of like a level of awareness that is available to all. If you continually feel at peace with this persons teachings, and can feel a centering truth on all levels of your being at her words, kind of like dropping a stone into a well and having the sound come back up untouched and pure, chances are she is accessing, channeling his teachings. Continually ask your heart, as it seems you are, and the answer ought to be consistent with a quiet peace if this is your path. You could also ask that God gives you other signs as well to verify. It works. I have been totally rebellious, untrusting, and yet always forgiven, and have usually felt always guided (when I am listening) even when I feel as if I am in the dark and mad that I lost my way - again.
