i have a problem after i am done meditating. when i bring myself back to my normal state my head hurts and i am hungruy i feel like i need to ground my self. is this normal? am i trying to focus too hard? i would appricate any suggestions any one may have.

After meditation or magical work it is perfectly normal to feel hungry and need to ground yourself, eating is a form of grounding sometimes it is the only one that works. What kind of meditation is is?
don't know about the head pain serious pain could mean a problem but i would say that if you are opening up your energy centres it may sometimes feel a little uncomfort able |

hi...
i`m trying to develop pyrokinesis..and when i just started..after i meditated or excercised i felt a bit dizzy, and weak, like if something drained me..later i grounded energy..asked for protection and energy from Sun and shielded....it never happened again!..and if it still happens,i don`t feel it, and keep my energy xD |

I think I foun the answer...how do you do this meditation? I do a meditation in which i have to count 10 to 0 (I`m too busy right now to explain the whole thing...) and when i`m done meditating i should count 0 to 10...when i don`t do this last process, I get the same symptoms... |

When I mediate I use the play dead technique; I usually feel refreshed and a bit more clear-headed. I tried this once when I only got 1hr of sleep; it worked wonders.
I wouldn't recommend mediating for long periods of time without breaks\practice. If you keep everything orderly you should be fine (same general conditions). |

Hello, I am new to this site, but I do know what I talk about these sorts of things. I am a researcher and as you can imagine I learn a lot of things while looking for one specific thing.
I worked on a problem somewhat similair to your problem. As stated before in a reply most meditation periods are often causing hunger, pain and aches of the sort, and wanting to ground yourself.
When most people meditate using certain techniques not meant for them it can cause their normal state to suffer for the misuse of the type of meditation. Your head pain is a symptom of this, you may be doing one of two things wrong.
One, you maybe trying to block out people from your mind while you meditate. Thus, causing your mind to not focus completely on its meditation period.
Two, you may not be doing the right type of meditation. Try just a calming breathing exercising meditation period. What works for me is when I started out meditating was to take it daily starting with one hour daily then after a week you move to two hours. If you wish to take it faster then move the times up by an hour every few days. But don't rush into meditation because such head pain might occur. |

fun lately i feel like i havent gotten much sleep so i try to relax in class--essientially medatite but still fully contious -- then shortly safter i come out of it im even more tierd then i was before if only school started at noon that would rock snd i get like 8-9 hours of sleep too still tierd oh well i guess its part of my gift |

One of the easiest meditations is Anapana, a breath meditation. on the in breath breathe in Absolute Freedom, on the out breath, breathe out The Rule of Nature. Don't analyse or define, just do. It may help. |

fun usially all i do is close my eyes--sittin up teachers dont bug me on it--and try to relax some how i end up tierd tho oh well just a small curse i can live with it |

If you have a headache it could be because you are developing your third eye and the muscles are not used to it yet (are you visualizing a ball or anything like that when you meditate?).
After you mediate, ground and center.
To ground, pretend you are a tree that has roots growing into the ground and visualize all the negative energy going down into the ground
To center focus on a chakra (the tai chi method of using the one right below your navel works well, one name for that spot is the hara chakra). Focus on that spot right below your navel, picture an circling vortex of energy there. That spot is your center of balance (for physical walking). Now while visualizing this vortex of energy (some use the color orange, tai chi uses gold), sort of pull yourself together, focus on all your physical/emotional/mental/spiritual energies being centered and in perfect aliginment.
I also always surround myself with white light and ask for spiritual protection before I meditate.

mage if oit was me thats quite likewly--asencion really fun in optical teens and i kinda think there are connections between pimples and karma im usially nice barely take care of my skin--yea face too-- one of the people thsat would make fun of me now has lots of them while i dont have that many--so there are many reasons each depends on the person huh? |

I dunno about pimples, but I didn't think about a third eye. It totally slipped my mind, oh well knowing as much as I do I guess I can't remember everything, now can I? Oh, I got a message saying something like, 'Where did you gather so much knowledge?' It was kind of funny, because I am a researcher and you would expect that from someone who researches things? Oh, well.
Back to the pimple thing-How do you figure that a pimple or skin care has something to do with this? (Just wondering)

well im kind--fer the most part--and dont get hardly many if any another that would make fun of me is full of them so im thinkin its more karma than anythin else likely mostly this `life my friends that i know are nice dont seem to get any course some do defy that so could have been really hyelpfull in another life but its based on observatio09ns in highschool--youd think juniors and seniors are past cooties but seems not oh well im not into many teen things so i guess theres balance there |
