Curious to know others opinions/ experiences on this topic. Once in my life, I saw a cloaked, hooded figure and the research I've done seems to point to a lot of possibilities, so I am confused. I was 16 and fell asleep in the living room near the fire because our heater was not working. I awoke being pulled towards the front door and recall seeing my mom and brother asleep in the living room too. I got up and walked towards the front door for some odd reason. As I approached it, I saw that door was slightly ajar and thought to myself how odd because we are religious about locking it at night. As I went to close and lock it, I happen to look through the window at the top and that's when I saw it. I stood at the end of our walkway in the street staring and facing directly at me. I could tell it was tall, most likely over 7ft and the face was dark with no details standing out. It wore a dark hooded cloak (like a monk). It startled me and I screamed as I backed away from the door. I recall there was no movement and it was gone when I got the courage to look back out of the window to see it again. Months later (maybe even a year) my next door neighbor died of Lupus. My mom was close to her. I have never seen it again.
On a side note, I have always been a sensitive from a very young age and this was not the first time and I have experienced something paranormal, but it was the first and last time I saw this creature thus far.
Can anyone give some advice or experiences, so I can make some sense of this experience? Anything is appreciated. Thank you |
