I just had a crazy thought for something that...wow... I'm not sure if I'd build it but I'm sure other people have had the thought or have even done it themselves.
Here's the idea.
A cube, perhaps 1.728 feet on all sides - or not.
Black, etched in white on each side - a hexagram with a pentagram inside the hexagon. Each to its opposite side would be reciprocal and measured identically.
The symbolism: 6/5 ^3 is the canonical cubit which seems to go into a lot of things in the universe. Additionally the pentagrams would be the inverse of each other through each plane and - hypothetically - yield ten instead of five. I haven't thought about whether the hexagrams would be rotated to interlace each other but that could make 12 points instead of 6 if done that way.
I really get the feeling that something like that probably would have some divine magic qualities albeit - just like I have no temptation to play with goetic magick this one of those 'Sounds interesting but - I don't think I'd ever do it'.
What do you guys think that kind of project might yield? |
