I would like to open my own Driver Education school for people who are looking to get their license here in the Sate of New Hampshire. I currently am licensed to teach driver education and do so in the public high schools around me. I have worked for someone since 2005 and I now want to work for myself. I am in the need for a partner or ability to purchase my own car, insurance and place to hold classes.

You can get awesome, fully loaded almost brand new cheap cars at your local police repossesion auctions. If you get your business license all of your expenses: insurance, gas, rental space and even the price of these cars, will be tax deductible. If you go to the auctions you can get great cars from years 2000-2006 for around $2,500-$4,000. Trust Me.

For starters, if you are serious you should go to the local churches around your area and see what rooms they have opened for people to use for seminars and classes etc. Many, Many, churches allow this. I just took a defensive driving course at a church about 3 weeks ago. Hotels also have rooms and Halls specifically for this use.

Next, you need to do a lot of advertising. Make a cheesy website or two and once they are set up, get into the habit of going around the internet and posting an article about your website with a link to it on blogs, related forums, and message boards. Do at least one a day. It's easy and the more you do, the more your link popularity becomes with the search engines. You may even want to create and save a standard article about it and linking to it. That way you can just copy and paste it into each new message board, forum and blog that you come across. Also submit all of your websites to every search engine you can find.

You need to do a lot of offline advertising as well. Phone book submission is one of the best, if you can, design yourself a funny cartoon charicter and get yourself a 3x5 add in the proper phone book section. You do not need a permenant location for this, you just need a permenant phone number. As people call, just give them directions to the latest locations of the classes.

Classified Ads will help you out too! Don't forget about the classifieds. There are both online and offline classifieds that you can submit to. Seek these out as well.

If they'll allow it, go down to a few dmv's in your area and give them a few of those mini business card stands to put at each "station" also try to do this at ALL of the local court houses. Many driving schools may have contracts with these courts. Ask around for the proper people to talk to about it when you get there and see if you can get the contract details. If you are able to outbid the previoius contractees on just one contract then your business will be well off.

Also look into government grants these are THE BEST source for financial help. But when you put in a request for one, you have to make sure that you have a specific WELL WRITTEN business plan, with the proper financial terms, IF YOUR REQUEST DOES NOT CONTAIN THE PROPER FINANCIAL VOCABULARY IT WILL BE DENIED ON THAT BASES ALONE, if your request does not have the right size margins, it will be denied, wrong ink-DENIED etc. etc. etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is get help. Find those with experience in writing grant proposals. I'm not saying spend thousands on grant writers though, There are many non-profit organizations that help people write grants for many reasons. Seek these people out for best results.

Also Contact 10 or 12 advertising agencies and see what they can do for you. Don't Disreguard this, they could make the difference between sinking and swimming above the competition.
