HI I'm new and very excited about your website/forum . Lots of interesting reads. I'm hoping that I can contribute as much as I can learn from all of you. A lil about me ....I'm a single mom of 3 children ages 18 16 and 10 ..I also have a 19 month old grand daughter. I work full time in a hospital and love to be with ppl. I am emphatic but have learned to ground and shield esp at work. I recently had a weird experience at work that I guess I'm looking for answers also... A patient coded and I was in the room alone and when i touched him I felt my hands get really warm for a few seconds and then when I asked him if he was ok he looked dead into my eyes and stopped breathingand my whole body got warm and then like a flash it was gone --of course I started cpr.But all I could do was shake uncontrolable for a half hour after but I felt a sence of peace and calm. I have done codes before and that has never happened .Can anyone enlighten me on this? Or kinda have that experience?
