I WAS WRONG

There are few things more humbling or embarrassing for a researcher than to discover that his working assumption of the last 30 years is a mistake. Tonight this happened to me. Unlike my other work with radionics, which assumes a totally paraphysical relationship model to explain the working of the devices, I had operated under the belief that that small magnetic field inside the psionic amplifying helmet created an interface which would in some way be detectable in the activity of the physical brain. Tonight's episode of Mythbusters proved that to be wrong and while it is flattering that they would take my invention to debunk it is still a shock.

This leaves me with three possibilities. First, nothing is going on at all and the helmet should be abandoned like N rays. Second, the helmet is nothing more than an elaborate placebo, part of the working model of our cultural consciousness. Third, there is a paraphysical component at work that is not measurable by an EEG.

If the answer is the first, then all the experiential evidence is nothing more than wishful thinking. I hope that I may be forgiven if, after three decades, I am not willing to go that far. The second is a real possibility and needs serious research by folks more independent and objective than I. The third would fit the relationship model that I have followed for most of my years of work. For the moment that is the course that I intend to pursue and I will begin by removing the magnets from the helmet design and encourage others to do likewise. And I will see what happens, we will see what happens.

To those who have perhaps placed overmuch faith in my work in this, I apologize. I was wrong and now I must deal with the mistake. It is going to take some time, perhaps years, to rewrite all the books and the website, so please be patient with me. All this has done is show just how little we know and how we must be willing to change course when reality hits us in the face.

Wow. Forgive me if I seem a bit arrogant for a newb to this site, but I am so impressed with the way you handled your error.

I've *never* seen anyone openly admit such a big mistake. You took responsibility and even learned from it. You have an extraordinarily open mind, even if you think you are not objective. I think you are.

And imo, the last 30 years were not a mistake because you learned from it, right? Who can fault you for seeking knowledge, but then finding a different sort than you thought? The greatest inventors/researchers have often started down one road and ended on another. Consider how antibiotics were discovered...by accident.

Just because you were wrong about one thing doesn't mean you can't continue your research. Follow the path where it leads you.

And I truly admire your openness.

Hey folks, I am new to posting here, but have been reading the posts for about a year. Anyway I feel that you shouldn't give up on your helmet and other experiments. I experiment with magnets and electronic equipment to enhance manifestations and prayer. Sometimes it makes a difference sometimes it doesn't. I am sure that if you try connecting to the higher power of Creator you will find that your experiments will prove helpful for medical purposes in the future anyway. Good luck and don't give up.

I've been researching all this stuff for about a year or so now. I've found that the brain generates orgone energy based on conscious thought through the third-eye or an area close to that. Secondly, magnets each generate their own orgone field, but I'm still unsure about how that exactly works and the effects of that. Thirdly, metallic elements (namely copper, silver, and gold) attract and radiate orgone energy.

I've never tried your psionic helmet, but after reading plans of it I too don't see a need for magnets. It seems that this psionic helmet should work just as well with just some copper covering the third-eye region and connecting to something, without any type of helmet or crystal or anything.

The way the magnets are placed in your psionic helmet design is ineffective, like magnotherapy. You would need to correctly arrange the magnets at a certain polarity and certain distance for it to have noticable effects, and even then I don't think you would get the effect you want.

But magnets do have an effect when you probably utilize the orgone field they generate. For instance take two ceramic magnets and clip them on your ear by the force of magnetic attraction. You should feel some effect on your brain immidiately, usually depending on the polarity, you should feel either way better or way worse. This also works much better on your pinky finger and toes. This is the only way I've been able to generate any type of orgone from magnets. It seems that magnets only generate noticable orgone energy when they attract or repel each other.
