My Grandfather (the father of mine) died about two or three weeks ago. I visited him two weeks before he died: he was very silent and couldn´t even eat...actually, during our dinner that day , soup was the last thing that went into his digestive system. After we left, next day, he didn´eat, nor speak... he was lying on bed all day long... He had been sick before, but not as bad as this....
Last night I had a dream in which I was in my house. The phone rang and dad answered. Then he tossed me the telephone. It was my Grandpa calling. This seemed really illogical to me because I knew he was dead. He said something like this:
"Hi young man! I am allright, I Love you!"
I don´t remember his exact words, though. Then, as I ended the conersation Dad said enthusiastically "Let´s go visit Grandpa!" and I told him, "But Dad, isn´t he DEAD!?" - with this words I remembered how he had been burried. "Well, yes, he was supposed to be dead but there was an error and well, he is OK.."
Ok : It was really weird. In less than 3 seconds we got to what used to be Grandpa´s house, which is three hours from here, at 100 km/h in car...
I remember going into the house and there were many people there.. the house looked different, though... There was music being played. My grandpa was dancing and very active. This shocked me because I was sure he was dead, but now I saw him really active, actually, I had never seen him like this: He was dancing, he didn´t use his stick anymore, and all the signs of his age had dissapeared from his face. He now said that he was allright and in a better place now.
Among the people that were there, I seemed to recognize the outline of a woman who I think was my Grandma, though I never really got to know her because she died a year before I was born...
Then I woke up. I had a great feeling, but now I was comming back to reality, and I didnt want to. As I woke up the thought of my grandpa being alive stick to my mind. I almost ran to my mother and told her that Grandpa was alive, but then I reacted.
In summary, this shows that we -most of the time- show a certain level of councioussness during our dreams, and that we can remember things or situations.
Also, it may show that perhaps Grandpa tried to communicate with me in my dream.
What is your opinion about the suject? Do you believe in afterlife? Do you think dead people can communicate with us through our dreams? Do you think we are aware, until certain point, during our dreams?
((I have always believed this, but now I am asking your personnal opinions)) |

i have heard of the dead trying to communicate with u through dreams.
i know that when you dream you are on the astral plane. i think ur grandfather was trying to tell you that he really is happy there...i think the reason that the house looked different is not only because it was a dream, but i have heard that if something is in a place for a long time it starts to form a place in the astral which remains even if the thing is moved in the physical and just fades slowly, but the longer it was there, the longer it stays...so i think the house looked different because maybe that was the way the house looked for so many years while your grandmother was still alive.
thats what i think about ur dream...interesting story too.
hope this comes in handy |

| The mind is truly an amazing thing it stores, catalogs, organizes and then can replay scences from our life that only we can make sense of . The language of the mind is symbols sometimes these symbols can only be understood by the individual's mind who created them. It's difficult to tell if these events are real or if it's the mind recalibrating previous memories. |

Greetings Fen Zero...I have read in the Sylvia Browne books that we visit our loved ones on the other side during our dreams. You are very fortunate to have such good recall. How wonderful that you probably witnessed a celebration of your grandfather's return "home" to the other side. This is probably why you felt you were at your grandfather's home, yet it was not familiar to you. You should journal your dreams. I usually have recall the instant I awaken. But hours later, I forget my dreams.
Blessings~~*Kaybee*~~ |
