|
|
Thought I would invoke a discussion about this subject that I have thought about a lot lately after observing and listening to fellow witches.
It seems to me there is an internal struggle with witches to be a white witch to do good intent as opposed to practising black magic. We all know that the the rules of good witches, good intent, good thoughts, etc, but how many of us have the strenght and want to always be a white witch. I do not mean harm people through black magic, but there is a dark side to everyone and is the internal struggle being true to yourself. Is it being honest.
To me in this modern day, there are so many people struggling to come to terms with who and what they are, including witches.
There is yin and yang in everything, so why not two sides to all witches.
Any comments? |

The point of life or expression is evoloution. To grow and surpass current situations and limitations. The path to personal evoloution, be it mental or spirtual is through symbiotic exitence. Experiencing and understanding all aspects of life and the energy systems which our universe is comprised of. To truely know anything you must know both sides of the balance. Up and down, light and dark, good and evil. There is is no constants in life and thus trying to label anything as one side of the balance or the other for more than but a moment is useless. Everything is always evolving and changing and so must any and every energy being.
We must not search for definitions and rely on the lies of those whom have preceeded us. Our revolution is in our ability to see beyond and create anew. |

| Accept the totality. Extend your range. Life isn't as simple as black and white and magick shouldn't be either. An artist has a hard time painting if they can only use one color. |

| In my opinion, (i'm not a magic user) i think everyone should practice magic to help those who deserve it and ignore those who do not. When in doubt, use your judgement (don't help the guy who looks like he's gonna rape somebody, etc.). You should use your powers (whatever they may be) to your own advantage first; as someone who believes in Karma, i don't think anyone needs to harm another, because punishment comes around to those who deserve it (and sometimes to those that dont). helping people, however, generally has no down sides. i don't completely understand the black/white stuff, but i happen to know that karma is very real and harming others in any way comes with consequences. i think you should learn all the magic first and decide when you've grown a little more emotionally, that way you have well-informed options and a taste in everything, and you'll have put off your decision for a time when you can decide more easily. |
