When I take lengthy baths (which is often), I tend to put a rag over my eyes-- After a while I tend to have some pretty intense visualizations-- The problem is, I'm not exactly sure if I'm falling asleep, or if these are actual visualizations. It usually happens within about 20 minutes, so I think I'm not sleeping. Any similar experiences?

Does it feel like your mind is fully awake, but you can't move your body? Then, you're probably having either a vision or you're astral projecting and what you're seeing is astral plane material being manipulated by your subconscious.
If, when you think back, it seems like you're asleep, you're probably dreaming, but what you're seeing is just as valid for potential vision material. |

I hate there's no edit button. Anyway, I used to have to close my eyes and quiet my mind before I got anything for visions. Now, I can get them any time I want, even when I'm multitasking. The multitasking sometimes boosts the accuracy of the visions. Luckily, they never black out what's in front of me.

When I 'snap out of it' I'm usually very alert-- Usually, I'm very groggy when I wake up from sleep.

I've been both groggy and alert when I've awoken from sleep, so it may have been me switching from a dreaming state to an astral projecting one. So, if you're alert when you come out of it, you probably weren't sleeping.
