my mother use to say that i had healing powers. she said that when i touched ppl and caressed them i made them feel better.
my first boyfriend said the same things, he use to day "i love the way you touch my with your hands, its so peaceful"

for about 4 -5 years i have not been told this and i have a doubt about it all.
how can one tell if one had or has healing powers and capabilities?

The power to heal is in everybody. Don't forget that human contact (and especially emotional contact) is a necessity, and has a tremendous impact on our general wellbeing. It is an immeasurable nutrient, but an essential one nonetheless! Without it, deficiency symptoms develop (malaise, anorexia, lethargy, etc. are common). Personal contact with somebody who is deficient will show marked improvement on their health and mood. A kind word, a gentle touch. . . You'd be surprised at how effective you can be while doing nothing unusual from your daily routine.

My x-girlfriend had several things she needed help with like High blood pressure, Heart problems, depression and A broken foot. I no it's kind of funny the foot thing but I studied and learned how to heal these things and heres how.
First I added another player type program to my laptop and played subliminal messages under classical music about how she was in perfect health then I bought a green bulb from wallmart. I then learned to build energy in my heart area and channel it thru my hands into her (i once burned her with my fingers but thats another story). Thats the set up.
Now the application. I set up a time everyday for 15 minutes for her to breath in the green light while I did the energy work on her foot and other areas.
Knowing how to use energy and focused intent is key here.
When it was all said and done she felt great her depression pill was half a pill every other day instead of 3 a day, no more high blood pressure and I healed her foot in a week in a half.
The funny thing here is the foot doc wanted me to come meet him and tell hem how I did it after he did the second x-ray.
Now all that being said all I really did is set up the equipment, She healed herself. I just opened a path and showed her own healing energy where to go.
