Ok, I don't know who here is into Ben Folds' music, but has anyone heard his song "Trusted" in Songs for Silverman? It has several references to psychic practices:

Caught in a dream
Picking up astral signals
Some of them psychic, you better watch what you think
Happens to be that everybody else's dreams are Freudian clues
You better watch what you dream

She's gonna be pissed when she wakes up
For terrible things I did to her in her dreams

Obvious references are to mind reading and though projections into this girls dreams. Also, the use of the terms "astral" and "Freudian" hint torwards the metaphysical.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Or any other songs by Ben Folds that show similar evidence?
