Been seeing Auras since past couple of months...seen my own Aura and its mostly green, see Auras of plants and trees around..
pretty careful when i look at people, since I am not known to be someone who does this! lol, i dont want to be freaking ppl out..

As Robert Bruce put it, he said its the activity of the Brow Chakra which basically is responsible for the Auric Sight. And that our normal eye even though perceives the colours of the Aura, its moreover the interpretation of the brain of the Energy levels. hence brow chakra (third eye) needs to be active to see Auras.

my say, seeing Aura is COMPLETELY natural and all it needs is training to see in a particular way and has little to do with any clairvoyant activity or energy stimulation.

also i am in agreement with RB that Auras in the sunlight are more brighter and bigger! A tree right in front of my office window has a fantastic golden hallow which is actually large during the day, reduces on a rainy day, while later in the evening the glow becomes more whitish, and its Aura remains very close to the tree itself.

wat say about the third eye?

i totally get what you're talking about. at times i can spot aura's as well. What you call the third eye i at first interpreted it differently. it felt very vivid for me. i sorta felt as if suddenly there was this wall around me that i never really noticed before that was obstructing my connection with other people. and in that wall there was a tunnel liking my mind with the minds of others. im not sure whether it was low oxygen or what but i swear i felt people inside my head. it was like i was suddenly surrounded by this sea of lights each representing a life. and i could reach out with my mind to them. it wasnt much. so far ive only managed to brush another persons consciousness (try not doing that, its an intensely personal experience. more personal than talking face to face while being totally naked). well neway it felt like this revolving tunnel made of pure energy was spinning in front of my third eye connecting me with other people. so yeah, i get what ur trying to say n i think that it is very natural. in fact i'd bet that thousands of years ago people were actually doing a lot more with it (like the sages from ancient india for example). its just been forgotten over time.

I have found that visualizing your third eye as an actual eye, and having it "blink", leads to what you to are saying in my case.

For most cases though, I tend to see the aura without any effort, in the same way I can see most non-human beings or, on occasion, people who are projecting into my vicinity, or even ghosts.

my problem is quite different and i am someone who gets to the bottom of evrything and only after prolonged evaluation, reach my conclusion..

sometimes i have to only look at the object and i see the Auras...while i havent tried too much on the human auras, i have managed to see a few....its jst because i dont want to staring at ppl to freak them! lol

i somewhere in the middle got stuck with only green auras, which i was told elsewhere in another thread that it is an afterimage...

but i am very confident that if Auras exist, they can be seen without the third eye functioning...its as natural as it can get, and hence everyone should be able to perceive with a lil training! Smile

I've seen (and felt) auras for a long time now. Usually they're colorless for me, but they do seem to have flickers of green, yellow, brown, or silver.

I don't think that the Third Eye has much at all to do with seeing them. It's easier for me to spot them in low light because they appear a bit dim. There are 4 possible conclusions for this:

1) The third eye is taking in light, which is false. I can't see with my other eyes closed, or blindfolded. This is, therefore, not the case.
2) I'm seeing the aura with my "main" eyes, and, as such, other light sources are interfering (much like trying to spot a candle inside the beam of a searchlight). This is a possibility, and most likely. Closing my main eyes makes auras easier to see if and only if I'm close enough to feel them; otherwise, I can't see them at all like this.
3) The brain interprets both light and auras the same way, with light coming in through my main eyes and auras coming through my third eye; the plentiful light dominates over the auras. This is possible, but unlikely. I put my hands over my Third Eye (which should block other auras) and my ability to see auras did not change.
4) I'm hallucinating. Always an interesting option; however, there is no evidence that this is the case. Possible, but unlikely

It's far better to experiment than to speculate Wink

I find that there are techniques that help me to see auras more clearly (hint: a person's aura is a great lie detector) that you may want to try:

- Get closer. The strength of any sort of energy increases fourfold when the distance is halved. It's basic geometry, a ratio dealing with area:volume of spheres.
- Dim the lights. See above.
- Let your eyes go out of focus. They take in less detail, but more information overall.
