Does anybody know how to find ghosts or spirits?

You are being much too general here, to be honest. 'Spirit' can refer to hundreds of things with many varied structures and energies. A ghost, on the other hand, is the enery 'print' of a deceased life, commonly human, that is connected to a specific place or item. In this instance it would be best to simply focus on divining any source of energy greater than normal as a thing of energy such as a ghost gives off a much higher concentration than a human or similar.

If you go to the astral plane you'll find all sorts of "spirits". I was amazed at the number of different entities there are once you learn to leave the physical plane.

When you have learned to leave this plane and interact with the different "spirits" that you find there, then you'll have better success in "seeing" them here in the physical world we inhabit.

I've encountered a gnome, octopus and a snake, all small in size. The gnome sat down when I saw it. It is really hard to tell any other details.
