New to all these subjects---but I am curious about almost all...especially a few experiences of my own that I cannot explain to myself. [1] How is it possible that I can visualize a person, place, scene, road, room etc. when someone is explaining to me where he/she is, what he/she is doing. Sometimes I get very strong feelings that what they are telling me is not where they are or what they are doing, but I cannot prove it, and I cannot tell the person no that is not true--because I would be calling them a liar with no proof, and I have no real way of verifying whether I am correct or not. Except I do know that I did see a place that I had once visualized. Also, [2] I may be driving the car looking at the sky or looking at the clock, or washing dishes -- it could be anything---and then, all of a sudden I am overcome with a feeling about someone - I can see their face - and I can feel that perhaps they are sad or happy or with someone or doing any number of things that I cannot prove. [3] Often times when I see their face or get that feeling - I am not thinking of this person, it just comes to me, and I have no control over it. Then I get an email or a phone call from that person. It could be a friend that I haven't talked to in months, but there it is.
So what do we call this? Coincidence maybe? |

Well, SKZ, it sounds to me like you are an empath. An empath is basically a person who can feel another person's feelings. Hope that helps! Ask me if you have any other questions, and I will be happy to answer.
