Gemstones contain life force. This life force is the divine energy that sustains, nourishes, and enlivens all living things.

Gemstone therapy is not a new-fangled notion. Hold a crystal in your hand until the body heat warms it, relax and you will feel a tingle from the crystal. Warm the crystal and place it on your third eye chakra (a very sensitive area). Its very common to feel a slight pressure or even a slight pain, don’t worry about it, its just your bodys attempt to get used to the energy.

Energy is the composition of the elements of nature as vibrational rays and wavelengths. When gemstone therapy is utilized, the gems pick up and transmit a specific wavelength to the body. The body in turn transforms these rays into chemicals and elemental particles it can use to better function both on the physical and emotional levels.

The gems are incredible repositories of their cosmic powers and their force is always positive. However, care must be taken that the correct gemstones are worn. Gems should be recommended by a qualified vedic astrologer, tantric, or ayurvedic practitioner as their effects are powerful and can cause detriment if incorrectly applied.

In the same way as medicines cure a disease by cumulative vibrational qualities, gemstones can counteract afflictions caused by the negative planetary effects.

Thanks much for the posts in this sub-forum. I have been drawn into crystals recently, and starting a bit of crystal work. I try to mediate with some of my crystals by placing one of each on my different chakra centers.

Probably the strongest energy I felt was from my rutilated quartz. Once it sent off a bit of electricity through me, it was energizing! My amethyst, on the other hand, is also quite powerful. It it normal that I feel this pulling force on my head when I place it on my crown chakra; and it's as if it's trying to open my forehead when I place it on my third eye chakra instead? I haven't done this again, for fear that my third eye might be opened when I'm not yet ready for it.

Rhodochrosite is a good crystal for stress. I'll try to find it somewhere...

Rhodochrosite is one of the stones of Love, I love this stone and it is a great stone for aries.

Celestite is a stone I love and use it a lot before healing sessions and meditations.
