A very interesting concept to be sure. I would really like to see one of these battles. But that does not help you. Here goes my spin on it. First, he is using intimidation and negative reinforcement. These are easily overcome through positive reinforcement and self esteem boosting techniques. As for what he used on you it sounds as though he used a negative Ki coating on the energy ball he used against you. This shows he is weaker than he states because blue ki energy is the result of negative key turning into positive key energy. I recommend you learn to create and absorbing ki shield to nuetralize most of these so called attacks. I do not believe in striking back per say. If you simply absorb or deflect his attacks then you have beaten him and have no Karmic side effects of a negative nature. As to the Karmic reprucussions there should really not be any since the battle is mutual and not done to truly harm each other in most cases. It is just showing off which has a Karmic effect all its own but differs greatly from the effect of harm and help type Karmic effects.[/img]

What is your goal? To be powerful enough to hang with, and maybe best this guy, or to actually become enlightened enough that it doesn't matter...

For the former, try working with Chaos energy. It's very powerful, and there isn't alot of it around, so you may catch this guy off guard.

Tell me (if you will) did you pick a fight with this guy, or does he just go around bullying newbies? If the former, you earned your beat down. It's good for you. If the latter, have him look me up. I betcha I could take him in one fell swoop...

You wont get any energy fighting results in the first few hours of work, but you may eventually develop some skill in this if you have determination. Here is a link where they train such warriors: http://www.mysticknight.org

concentrated like crazy
i make a ki ball, open hands and make a very large one
then close my hands together concentrating the ki
then you shoot it at whatever you want, very hard to maintain
i do wind mainly though

OMG I am getting sick and tired of this Mystic Knight website being posted in every topic!

Whatever, since nobody has explained exactly what Chaos Energy is I´d like to say that what was posted in the original message, about this guy´s flesh being torn appart and stuff, well though it isn´t really believable, remember that we create our own reality and everything is done mentally.

Who knows, perhaps this really did happen (which I think is really possible)

I already had years of training in other related areas outside of martial arts and some time with martial arts before getting this book, so I can say asurredly that this book is accurate.

If you want 'ki balls' and the like, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, don't draw ki from your own body, especially at the beginning stages. You can't sustain the energy levels necessary for any appreciable amount of work.

Second, the energy level per second of just moving wind is so high because of the weak interaction between ki/chi and slower, more dense air and forms of energy, such as the proton and electron. A good energy form to work with is electricity, but there is a simple way to get around the problem of the electricity zig zagging all over the place: keep the intention in both your conscious and subconscious minds that the electricity won't zig zag back and forth, that it will flow in a straight line.

Third, don't ever draw on energy that has your own body as the source. I say to not use yourself as the source twice because it needs to be said twice and often more with some people. Draw it to you before you push it away, only if you want to do that. It's just as easy as using the energy around the target to move to the target to move it and it's a whole lot quicker than worrying about the energy crossing the distance.

I've never heard of chaos energy outside of role playing games and I just glanced at the training section of the mystical knight thing, which I've never heard of before this thread, so I can't speak of its authenticity of success of their techniques or instruction practices. Are they typically people that have shown low successes or poor technique descriptions?
