|Did you know that there is something called Christian Mysticism?
Real teachings passed down through the ages from masters/sages/mystics.
This is the stuff you don't see in the Bibles of nowadays but you may be aware of if you're part of a Spiritualist Christian Church..
If you're not aware of Christian Mysticism this will give you some knowledge.
The experience of God/Source in the Here and Now.
Christian Mystics hold true to three main principles.
1) They believe that all men by nature are like god and within everyone there is the spark of the divine. They also believe in the indwelling Christ. This Christ can be formed or born within each of us.
2) Their pursuit of direct intercourse with god through contemplating and prayer or better put Contemplation-Meditation. Not just the repitition of a prescribed set of devotions. Its like an unceasing comunion with God.
3) Their pursuit of a threefold path of ascent to God. This threefold path consists of :-
a) Purgation - Purging of the soul of all that is unlike God.
b) Illumination - Displacing ignorance and the poisons wih the light of the Source.
b) Union - The union of the soul with her Lord.
