I am trying to study for a test, however I have a tendancy to become test phobic. I used to activate seeing the page I was studying and remembering what it was exactly and what page.

I need to activate this again and am becoming blocked. Does anyone have any suggestions.. Question

Disassociate yourself from the world around you, don't view it as a test. It's just another event in your life, another meaningless block of time that will be over.

You wouldn't happen to be familiar with the litany against fear, would you?

Hi, I've done alot of work with fear over the years (I suffer anxiety and have had to come up with ways to combat it in all sorts of situations.) Anxiety tends to freeze us and make doing things impossible. If you need to get out of this state, I suggest you activate the opposite energy pathway from fear, which is Love. You can just pick something you really like, or admire, best to have it a natural object for this (flower, tree, bird, etc.) and just concentrate on that and practice feeling appreciation, admiration, and so on. Then you'll have switched on the opposite pathway in your brain and the anxiety will be gone - so you can do the visualising of the paper technique.

It's a good idea to learn how to refuse the beginnings of fear and anxiety, too, so you don't end up paralysed by it again. I think it's something we all could do with learning, since we're all subject to fears that limit us and can get stuck there from time to time. Love is always the answer, the applying of the energy of love comes down to consciously choosing to practice and experience a positive emotional state such as appreciation, acceptance, admiration, joy, happiness, etc etc. Opening up and welcoming something rather than closing down and resisting it - doing the opposite of what you feel like doing when you're nervous or afraid.

think to yourself you cannot fail, what ever the end mark is, life has funny twists and turns. If you have done your preparation, thats half of it done. Visualise yourself as some one who absolutely loves this kind of situation how ever scary an alien it may seem. When the examiner tells you to turn the paper over, if its that kind of test, wait a few moments, take a deep breath and offer thanks for this oppertunity. Then turn the paper over. I wish you well.
