Eh, I guess I know what Jing Is. I`ve heard it is an energy (duh!)..a stronger version of Chi/Ki. You can achieve it by visualizing your bones filling up with Ki/Chi and and compressing alot of energy on them. Tons of Ki/chi and (for Example) Solar Energy accumulated in your bones. And then you have Jing...Do you know what it is? If you do, and how to obtain it, please post! Good Luck!

Jing is used in internal martial arts. When you strike, you want to release the jing at the end, to give your strikes the maximum power. Someone who effectively uses jing will be able to use almost all of their body weight in their strikes, giving them an advantage over everyone. So even a 100lb guy can strike with a 100lb pressured punch.

learn too clear your mind. meditate, and concentrate only on energy work, do "energy" or "chi" work the entire time while meditating. eventaully you will hit a point were you can feel energy fluctuate around your body. this may be what your talking about, also id suggest practise in "pushing" and "pulling" chi energy. after you can gather lots of energy, create a "thicker" energy feeling, this may take more concentration.

Jing Blast:
Go set up for a regular ki blast. Place your hands to your side and create a ki ball between them as you normaly would. After the ki ball is created, begin to visualize the ki hardening into a solid object. I visualize it hardening into a rock. When in your mind it looks like a rock in between your hands, Thrust out like you normaly would. When the "rock" is released, visualize the stream of ki pushing it as a Pole or peice of two by four. I visualize a huge telephone pole emerging and shooting at the opponent. Ram the pole straight through the opponent. This will give a visible effect of the damage. It may cause a red mark or something the first few times you try it. Practice it on a friend first. But make sure he has propper gear on. I did this to a friend of mine before when he wasn't wearing any gear. He bent down and acted like he had just been punched real hard in the gut. When he recovered he commented that it felt like a telephone pole was rammed through him.

THERE YOU GO GUYS!:::MERRY CHRISTMAS!

actually, jing is not necessarily energy, or at least not in the sense you're referring to. Jing is an abstract term that cannot be directly translated into english. Jing can be divided into innate and acquired jing. Physically, the sperm and the egg are jing, and energetically the hold jing. When you are born, you are endowed innate jing from your parent's gametes. It represents the foundation of your existance, in a physical sense (e.g. DNA) an in a metaphysical sense (the actual energy expended during coitis). It is held in the kidneys. When you run out of jing, you die. That's why too much sex is bad for you. Of course you can replenish your supply, so sex in moderation is no biggy. Anyway, you also gain acquired jing from the food you eat. It represents, in this case (and here I'm putting a little insight into it), the physical "energy" you gain from food/calories. It represents the sugars, fats, and proteins from the food. Hence the whole point of daoist training is to foster this jing to usable qi. There's been alot of myths going around about jing and what it is an isn't. Let's please put a stop to this. This is the definition of jing, verbatim: "Essence-of-life, the fundamental material that makes up the human body, the material foundation of life; derived from innate and acquired sources" (Qigong Empowerment p.324, by Master Shou-Yu Liang and Wen-Ching Wu) Another excerpt describes it as such: "Generally speaking, jing isthe essene of the body. It is the activating and nurturing substance. Qi is the life activating force, the energy that gives rise to life and performs all its activities."

hiya, my first post here.......sooo here goes

jing (physical expression of force) and jing (sperm) are two different words which are pronounced and written differently.

alot of chinese expressions about ones well being and energy level have to do with jing(sperm)

the other jing however refers to your body working in perfect harmony thereby producing the maximum amount of force possibly generated by your body. mastery in it also allows you to accelerate something like...your punch for example from 0 to 100% speed in no time at all, or enable you to send a shockwave through someone's body even with your arm fully extended, you've probaby seen the vid of bruce lee demonstarating his one inch punch?
that is one of the examples of releasing jing.........

and there is such a thing as relaxed jing....where the chinese guys i know can produce it even when they are just giving you a gentle tap on your back, you can feel it throughout your entire body
