Hi All,

I turned away from the pc closed my eyes and put my hands together in a steeple. I pictured a white line going up out of my head and white energy spiraling down very fast and going straight between my hands. It wasn't done very well though because the energy kind of just went straight into my hands didn't actually visualise it going from my head into my hands.

I didn't experience much sensation other than my leg tensed for a second. I imagined a ball of energy between my hands that opened and I could see a portal leading into the ball. I then imagined myself going into the portal and my visual self was in a kind of milky blackness like space but nothing but a light source that I swam towards. It was another portal that threw me on my floor. Then I opened my eyes. Now I didn't get any physical sensations, no tugging or anything when I went into the portal. I've been reading about portals before I did this so it could have been my mind playing on what I've been reading, correct?? Actually at one moment there was nothing, all black I wasn't breathing it lasted for about one second.

Anyway, about 3 minutes later while reading text on the computer, I felt weird but brushed it off. Then I felt extremely weird, my hands were kind of heavy and I couldn't read the text on the screen, the text didn't blur or whatever it was like the letters were broken, made out of small black squares with some of them missing. After about 5-10 seconds the text returned to normal, although I still felt a little odd after that.

Any ideas what that was about?

Sorry, forgot to mention that my vision started shaking very slightly when the text started 'breaking' and I noticed I had a very faint rocking sensation, which I think I consciously increased.

This focusing malfunction is common when part of you (even though it is not in your conscious mind) decides to go somewhere else. Maybe you were reading about a particular person or place and thought that you might like to visit there, or a friend of yours wished for you to be with them. Part of you hears such requests, and goes to them.

This phenomena is common when you start energy practice. What you have experienced is a distortion of normal perception, which occurs when your consciousness starts to percieve along with your mind. It means that you are starting to percieve things from the point of view of your Spirit, and not only your human perceptive control process.
