i've seen parts of my body glow with a bright white light while meditating....anyone can clue me in as to what it means?

as for body parts glowing white... I think your just seeing your own aura... that is what it sounds like to me. Have you seen this any other time?

well most of the time it's this gold-ish color...what does the colors of the aura mean?

I am not sure about this but when I meditate and try to heal my self the parts that are injured glow something like this. But please tell us if possible: what parts of your body glow? :O

hmmm
pratically the whole body...and i also feel my as if i was having a suana inside my body.....maybe i'm injured all over lol

lol ... well perhaps you are overflooded with energy, thatÂ´s why you shine and you have this sensation inside you.

This is just my theory, but I think jacky_lightfoot or d_redant will give you a better explanation.

Well my openion may not count.But,when I am at a meditative state and I am working .I glow also.My family atest to it.They have seen me glow through the front door to outside.Yes, you will get hot. It is because you are manifesting much energies.Put it to use healing the sick.Meditate for peace.
I also do so when putting up a white light pulsating barrier.

Its widely known by tons of people to visualise white light around you..or you engolved in a bubble of white light.

It's the simplest form of protection known but still powerful.

I agree with d_redant... white light is the simplest form of protection and I've read somewhere usually when most people see their aura for the first time its usually white and then as you focus your eyes you can see other colors.

Of course, white light is this or that... but if it is provoked from within and not mentally created with your imagination, it means (in my opinion), that it is the result of the direct implication of your consciousness, your Spirit, in the meditative process you were in.

When you use your mind to visualize, you use imagery to provoke the phenomena. If you are letting go of every form of control, and that something happens, it means that the event has occured from within, by itself, and that the mind interpreted it and showed you the image that it represents.

Put electricity in a dynamo, the dynamo will turn. Turn the dynamo by hand, it will output electricity. Works both ways, same with mental imagery, wether you control it or not.

I do agree that the white light is the simplest forms of protection and does come from within.Can also manifest within the sprit but,be dilerbrately directed.
