I had an recently eery astral travelling experience just after coming home from hospital after surgery. I was doozing on the couch half alseep, we I was suddenly in a old dark stone court yard with lots of windows. In one of the windows I saw my sister (estranged from), I then wanted to escape so I took off flying but could not get the strength to gain height or speed. I made in out of the courtyard up a lane way and into a dark city street that I recognised as my home town in an odd way. But then I gained power and speed and turned still flying back into the lane way, but i felt I had a different persona a different energy heading back to the window where I saw my sister. But I did not make it because as I was going back up the lane way and I knew I felt different stronger even I made this weird spooky noise that brought me back to earth. HOWEVER, when I woke I could not move, I could hear my friend calling me (as she was close by when this occurred heard the noise I made and saw me come back from travelling but could also see I was stuck in a realm somewhere. I could not not move or speak but my mind was fully awake. I could not come back myself, my friend brought me back gently by slowing guiding me back. It took a few minutes to come back and when i did I was so spoooked and bewildered I wanted to hide. My stay in hospital causeed some disruption in the spirit world and they must have sent a email to all those spirits waiting to cross over as they were everywhere and kept bugging me but i was so out of it I could not help them. Some have attached themselves to me and so lots of weird supernatural things have occured in a few short weeks.
I just thought it an interesting experinece for those who either fly in their dreams or astral travel or both. I hate to think if my friend had not been there or did not know what to do, where i would be now.
After thinking about it, I have come up with this conclusion that as I was fleeying the court yard, I could not gain power, however when I left the yard and gained power and height I decided that I was strong enough to go and confront that sister so with confidence I turned and flew back.
The only strange thing was its seemed like a dark energy though and when I made the noise i did, so strange it brought me back it spooked me.
