Has anyone ever heard this happening? You meet a group of people and everyone seems to know your name? Not the one on your birth certificate, but a name that you have used and kept secret for most of your life?

Yes ...I have had similar happen ...many times .....New people that
I've met ...have called me ...by the given name ...my mother wanted
to name me ...but not my actual name ...Also ...in past life research ..
apparently in several life times ...that name ...was my given name
then. It is my belief ...that these people ...were with me ...in prior
past lives ...and our ..."spirits" .....on a deeper level ...recognized each
other.

....it may be worth researching those names....you can gain some good insight into past or even present expressions thorugh such revelations. Maybe look to the Jewish Torah or Cabalistic letter and word analysis or the nordic runes........
