Can it get to a point where you are trying to manifest too many things? When actually it would be better to just go with the flow of life and stop manipulating things? I ask because, tending to have a bit of a manipulative streak inside me, I can see myself using manifestations to get what I want whenever I want it, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

Any advice?

It might be a problem if you have conflicting manifestations or if you keep changing your mind about a manifestation is the only problems I see...

Anyone else?

Hmm ok. No, definitely no conflicting ones in mind. Thanks!

Black Cat: are you a little too supersticious? haha, just kidding.

There's no such thing as too many, unless like neotechmatrix2002 said, they conflict. Some speculate about the whole "manifest it, and forget it" technique, which theoretically: you manifest it for awhile, and after you think the universe has the right idea about what you desire, stop manifesting. The reason to stop is because you might start to have second thoughts about "will i really get it?" or "its been a month, and i still dont have it. i'll never get it" or maybe you'll be wondering how this desire will come about into your life. If you wonder, you second guess; if you second guess, it won't happen. It takes time, so be patient.

I don't manifest often, because i don't really have any desires at this point, cause i don't need or want much. But I did use the technique above, and it worked for me. I wanted a new Mustang GT, and about 2 months later, my uncle asked me if i wanted to buy his '06 Mustang. Pretty sweet, huh?

I didn't get it cause i didn't have enough money for what he was asking, but if i would've put more heart and emotion into my manifestation, i wouldn't doubt he would've sold it cheaper, or i would've mysteriously gotten one free.

Heck no. The problem becomes that you get so scattered in your thinking that if there is something you really, really want, you will not be focused enough to get it. I have one massive thing I want to manifest, and four little things. I spend a minute a day on the four little things so I can get them in motion, and spent the majority of my time on what I want the most.

Everything in your life you manifested and/or attracted according to the philosphy I follow. When I "went with the flow" I was on default mode and got a bunch of crap I did not want. There is nothing wrong with manifesting anything you want - we asked to come to this planet to create the life we love.

Have you read any of the Abraham books by Esther and Jerry Hicks? If not, I suggest you do, or pop over to their site and listen to their free intro to Law of Attraction. Really great stuff, totally turned my life around.

lol soupnazi. Wink Great news about the Mustang though, that's very awesome!

I haven't read any of those books, Tempest. I'm very new to manifesting, so I'll look into it. I think I watched a YouTube thing on the Law of Attraction several months ago though, so I have an idea of what it means. Thanks!

I do tend to be impatient about getting what I want. It's not my strong suit... so I'll try not to get into the habit of "oh it hasn't happened yet, I better do another manifestation to make sure"...

http://www.abraham-hicks.com/

Abraham makes manifestation so easy - broken down into three simple steps. I am naturally a multi-tasker so it has taken me a lot of work to settle on one thing at a time.

I also suggest joining the Art of Allowing group I belong to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/artofallowing/ There are some real expets on here who have helped me a lot.

Hmmm. Too many manifestations. Well I guess it comes down to sub-conscious vs conscious manifestation. If we assume by the idea that we create our reality, then in turn all events are created via our own manifestations.

So I belive what you truely ask is. Can there be too many conscious manifestations. And I would answer, the same as someone else did. The only way a manifestation can cause an issue is sometimes it will counter a previous manifestation.

However I belive it is better to see manifestation as less a idea written into a plane of stone, and rather as a ripple. It isn't a static thing, and like most forms of energetics can be manipulated quite easily.

Manifestation is a dynamic event. And with conscious manifestation there are often manifestations sub-consciously occuring that may alter the manifestation. And for this reason it is always smart to merely mind your thoughts. The more impact you allow yourself to have on reality, means your thoughts with have more impact overall. For in thinking you have the ability to change reality, you manifest the ability to have your thoughts change reality, and thus they do.

Hi, Black Cat.
I just read Ask and It Is Given by Abraham-Hicks and it really cleared up some things about manifesting for me compared to a half dozen other books I've read, like the Secret, etc. And searching for Abraham-Hicks is what brought me to this thread. Smile

Anyway, most people responded to your initial question about manifesting too many things, but what struck me was the word you used - manipulating. It sounds like you might be worried about feelings of guilt....?

For example, a friend of mine would manifest rolling sixes when playing a board game but when she started winning she would feel guilty and quit manifesting. Another example is manifesting your name being drawn for a raffle or door prize when you know other people want to win.

I've gone back and forth on wondering if one should feel guilty or not but all the books on the Law of Attraction will tell you there is abundance for all and that the Universe will bring things to you in the most harmonious way. So even though there is the appearance of lack for others when you manifest something, I think that we should trust that we have not done harm or deprived anyone or it would not have manifested as it did. [Even if a sore loser gets in your face for cheating. Wink]

I would love to hear how others reasoned with their feelings of guilt when manifesting, too.
