I recently watched it, it's not a secret, it just says we attract what we focus on. It's a very simple idea and either works or not. Being fairly new I've yet to come across a word of feedback since it was out and wondered if anyone had seen it and tested the theory?

I haven't got far yet but will need some time to get my own results, so has anyone made it work?

I've heard about "The Secret" from other people that have really enjoyed it, but I haven't actually seen it myself though. I've seen "What The Bleep Do We Know." Are those 2 movies similar? If the secret is only about what you say it is then I really have no need to watch it... just like what the bleep do we know... I already knew about everything in that movie before I saw it.

I haven't seen what the bleep but the little I've heard sounds similar. So the question is we know the theory, can it really work? I am testing it as far as I can but considering the millions of sales worldwide I'd hope it would be possible to be tested on a massive scale, rather than being watched and eternally forgotten by most viewers. Hopefully something this big, even if nonsense as many claim, will be shown one way or another after such a huge sample of possible users. If nothing else these claims need to be tested scientifically.

'The Secret' is positive thinking and affirmations that's been around in mysticism for thousands of years.

I totally agree, it's nothing new and just presented in a simplified version in the DVD. But the only question remains, does it actually work. Either we act as creators/co creators through thought or it has no effect at all as many critics say.
But it's not difficult to test, if 100 people were given a task to creat in a month and 100 other people the same one without knowing the secret and then compare the results we'd start to see who's right. The trouble is the bigger the claim the bigger the proof has to be but very few actually put up their claims by having them properly checked out. This one covers all the rest as if true we could decide things could change and introduce all the psychic powers we wanted as it was all our own creation anyway.

So many other rough edgeds remain. If our thoughts cause others to act differently towards us for instance, doesn't that affect their free will as if we expect insults (as in the early part of the film) it causes people to insult us. What have they done to decide to behave badly besides react to us, in which case they are no longer under their own influence but mine. All logic has to go out of the window forever if it's true.

The Secret DVD is very beneficial...

It has brought a global awareness of stuff that needs to be distributed to the masses for humankind to gain control of their lives.

I'd say the concepts in the secret are known to me and alot of other people for a long time..Just now it's actually being put together in a marketable form for the public..

The Teachers featured in The Secret have also recently put together a program that shows effectively how to do everything.... It's well laid out but not cheap!

However I honestly think it is worth every penny. What they have done is put together EVERYTHING you need to know about the laws of attraction and manifestation stuff in a easily understood form and specific things to do that WILL result in things flowing according to what you want in your life.. This system is specfically geared around gaining financial windfalls from the universe.

It's a scientific way of getting the things you want in your life... Way beyond your expectations.

I certainly will, I've also read 'Ask and it is given' which gives many practical applications as well. Having sold on such a huge scale in the US I would expect even if a fraction of the viewers bothered to work at it you'd see a huge change in their lives if it does work.
The latest theory says it's not a contradiction to science but quantum physics working at our level. This means matter is energy which is originally thought. The thought organises the energy into matter (still 99% space) and if you accept it then God or his workers do the conversion for us. Just in the way we create all we dream about we would do the same as creators of reality, and learn to control it instead of the random chaos in life and dreams. Some have said it's selfish and not spiritual but if we're doing it all the time anyway why not get it to create things the way we prefer not just randomly?

I believe the law of attraction works 100% of the time. The only times it doesn't work is if you weren't specific enough in your request or you kept changing your mind on what you want.

If your at a store and you have 5 different choices to make and you stand there going yes, no, yes , no or I wasn't able to choose # 1,3,5 no maybe 4,5 1 and so on and so forth and never come to a decision how is the universe going to know what you want... and what you want will keep staying just out of reach, just like the chances of you ever leaving that store if you keep standing there changing your mind.

Does my example work for everyone?

Five years a go before I knew what was what, in manifestation, I put out for a request for a loving 28 year old with blond hair and blue eyes,
I didn't even think about it again, or realize that I had made a request to the universe, about a year later there she was, she was in a pinch in life, and had nowhere to turn but me, later in life I wished for a Harley, and then came across a deal that I could not refuse, Then the tragedy came, I was a little board with this girl, I had a thought of a more exciting biker like woman, guess what, poof three months later she showed up on my door step, like a fool, I took her up on her offer, and lost this little thing,
that was supposed to be my future wife.

Bottom line here watch what you wish for!

another thing, in 97 I wished to be free from Alcohol, guess what, I got busted for felony DUI lost my license for 10 years, and almost went to the county jail for 3 years, guess what, I didn't drink after that, I got exactly what I wished for, but I should have been more, explicit on the way it should have happen!

like my carpenter buddies always say, messier twice, cut once.

Thanks for sharing your manifestations.. the universe always gives you what you ask for.. as for your dui I bet that was the only way you would have stopped drinking.
