Hello!

I am rather new to pendulum use but the practice has always fascinated me. I recently moved back in with my Mom and I rememberd she owned a pendulum. Bringing up the subject we decided to practice a bit and came up with some interesting results. Firstly, we discovered that her pendulum was attuned to MY energy somehow!

I cleansed it with water and centered it to my forehead chakkra. I sat relaxed and held the pendulum over my left palm and asked it to "show me Yes." Instantly it swung from side to side. A bit caught off guard, I stopped the motion in my palm, recentered, and asked the pendulum to "show me No." The pendulum instantly swung to and fro in strong movements. I was shocked as well as my Mom!

Over the next few minutes I continued to ask obvious yes or no questions such as "Is it sunny today?" and "Am I male" and got correct answers every time.

So we decided to get into some serious stuff. Both me and my mother have sensed the presence of spirits in her house from years ago. At one time we even sensed a very dark and angry presence and had to cleanse the house with sage ordering the spirit to leave us alone! It seemed to work for a few years but recently that presense has returned.

Another interesting subject is that my Mom has recently been experiencing real time EVP. She uses a "sound machine" set to "Rain" every night. Through the drone of "static" she has claimed to hear voices speaking to her. I kind of dismissed this for the most part due to the fact that I could not hear them no matter how long I tried, relaxed, fell asleep, etc! I did believe her though.

Well, using the pendulum I asked if there were any spirits assoicated with this house. It was an immediate response of yes. Over the next few minutes using yes or no questions I narrowed it down to 4 spirits in the house. 3 Friendly, and 1 angry. I also determined that none of those spirits were talking to me through the pendulum, but a higher spirit not associated with the house. I also found out this spirit was female and was linked to the angry spirit.

We also confirmed that the spirits in the house do communicate with my Mom through her sound machine, but also told me that I could not hear them.

Focusing on the angry spirit me and my mom went into some investigative questions which lasted well over 2 hours. We found out that this spirit had attached itself to my mother when we lived in Mississipi!! We also discovered that he was tall, male, and smoked. This shocked my mother because often at nights she could smell cigarette smoke while I could not. We found out that this spirit was murdered in Mississippi and was frustrated that his murderer was never found and was alive even to this day.

We also discovered that the spirit in communication with me was actually his lover and longed to be reunited with him. She could not communicate with him directly. We asked if saying prayers for the departed would help. She said yes but we found that it would be his choice to go through that door should we open it. We asked if she could be there at that door so he could see her and it may help him move over. She said yes.

She wished us to do the prayers soon too, for I asked if I would ever talk to her again in the future and she said No.

After 30 minutes of preparation we said the prayers and found from her that he did cross over and they were reunited. When I asked if we were done now and if it was time to say goodbye the pendulum was still over my palm, and refused to move.

Well thats a quick sum up of a very long and powerful day in my life. I wanted to share it with others and get some perspective. Thanks for listening and I hope you are all enjoying your own studies. Smile

I own about 5 pendulums and I get accrate responses from all of them.
The first one I bought was about 2-3 years ago. It was aventurine and after trying several before this one, I held it up by the chain and it literally danced around on the bottom of the chain. Well, it gave me perfect "readings" and gave me a way to know how to choose subsequent pendulums. If they jumped or danced on the chain, I bought them.

I also have spirits in my house, but that's a different story !!

I find that I can get a response from just about any pendulum even a necklace will do if I'm away from home... However my responses seem to be linked to my subconsious mind - if I don't know the answer somewhere in my head or experience then I don't get an accurate reading. So mostly I just use one to find out what I think about something. I'm not saying that it is that way for everyone, just for me.

Excellent post Grovemage - even tho it was awhile ago.

So many people put the pendulum aside as inconclusive or not true - when in fact, they have used it for non-spiritual type questions. Or no knowledge of the deeper issues inside the questions asked.

I am ascending - and cannot imagine doing this without the use of the pendulum and muscle-testing.

Hi,

I used to use a pendulum then I found kinesiology with using the fingers of one hand. It is just as accurate. I found the finger method via the immunics.org site and have successfully used it to remove illness and also accessing my conscious mind for increased concentration.

Early this year, or maybe late last year, I do no recall now, I used it to pick horses in both the New Zealand and Ozstralia horse races via www.tab.co.nz and I was able to predict one winner in each horse race although I was aiming for trifecta's as well. I kept a log of the horse races activity although it is a bit convoluted.

Well, that's about all.
