I have this books its called "A Grimore of Shadows" In the back of it under "Master" Magical Training it talks about Diliberate Creation of Elementals... little creatures that you can control that you make up... tell them what to do... fix a date when the are to dies... give it a name... so on and so forth...

I was just wondering if anyone knows anymore information or if anyone has done anything like this before?

This is 100% possible. I once made one myself, a phoenix. It is just like doing a psi/ki ball! It may or may not be visible, it all depends on how much effort, love, and energy you put on it.NOTICE: This is quite a bit of information to consume, so please read it very well until you fully understand it and keep it at hand before you attempt to create an elemental.

One can create a thoughtform and infuse it with emotional energy. This creates what is called an artificial elemental or a familiar. Its purpose is to serve as a watcher, a guard, a messenger, or a companion. You may or may not be able to physically see it, but either way, you will be able to sense it. DO NOT create an artificial elemental that you do not need. If you create one and think you have failed, you are likely to be wrong... the last thing you want to do is create an elemental and not realise it. Be responsible for your actions!

Your elemental should be in the correct color of its purpose and element. It is up to you to decide what element your artificial elemental will be made of -- it should suit you and your purpose. If you do not know about the characteristics and colors of the four elements, please visit the main Elemental Magic page.

Once you have decided your color and element, you should decide on the shape of the artificial elemental. It is easiest to use an animal form that you are familiar with. (If you have a totem animal, that would be ideal.)

Now, let's begin creating the elemental. Visualise a ball of light in the color of the element glowing before you. Allow it to take the form you wish it to be. Example: if I wanted an earth elemental, which would be green, and I wanted it in the shape of a lizard, I would visualise a green ball of light before me. I would then see the ball of light taking the shape of a lizard.

The artificial elemental is now created.

You should communicate with your elemental telepathically. This means that you simply have to think instead of speaking and the elemental will respond to you the same way. Your first step should be to name your artificial elemental. The first name that comes to your mind when you talk telepathically should be the name you use. When you decide on the name, state aloud or in your mind:

"I name you (insert elemental's name here)".

Once this is done, you should tell your elemental why you created him/her and what their purpose is. Should they stand as a psychic guard? Warn you if there's a problem? Pass on a message psychically to someone? Make their purpose very clear. You may now communicate freely with your elemental as much as you want, and keep it around as long as you like.

Remember than an artificial elemental is a responsibility as much as "owning" any other creature should be. Keep track of it. You may wish to use the "genie in a bottle" method to keep your elemental in one place. Use an empty box to create a "home" for the elemental. Draw the symbol of whatever element you used to create the elemental on the box and telepathically ask your elemental to use the space you have created. You may add as many features as you wish, such as breathing, crying, peeing xD etc...

Should you decide you no longer need the elemental, reverse the process you used to create it. First visualize the creature before you, then see it become an ordinary ball of color light again, and then draw that energy back into yourself by simply inhaling deeply.

ive heard of people making them and having them turn on them. I just would do anything i couldnt undo or dont know how to do as far as things like that go. Though i only do simple things

If i already said it, i`ll repeat it....it depends of what kind of feelings you put into your being, and how you treat them...I dunno if you`ve heard about these-gnomes, elves (however you call them)- that are ornaments(, to call it like that,) for home but people say they move, you must talk to them, feed them..etc...I`ll try to get more accurate info on this subject....

that would be kinda scary having my little creature turn on me.... but where is your sense of adventure? Things can go wrong with everything that you do. How about your psi abilities? How can you know that you can do something until you try? As for me everything happens naturally Razz

so i don't really need to try to hard to make anything happen. Not trying to brag or anything just simply stating that you shouldn't be afraid to try or do things that you haven't done before. As for me I'm probably to daring for my own good, but its fun! Razz

I think that having an elemental will be very useful. I just want to make sure I know what I'm doing before I make one. Maybe I'll have to make one of the instructions "If you ever disobey me or do anything bad/harmful you'll die instantly" Sounds like I found a way to protect myself from anything bad happening. So if anyone out there has made there own elemental I'd like to hear your stories on how things went and what you used it for.

Or maybe one of my instructions could be this "If you do anything bad/harmful you'll be forced to do 3 times the good then die" I'm just coming up w/ random thoughts at the moment... as usual. I definately want to know all that I can so that i have a greater chance of avoiding anything bad happening. My intentions are good I'll never use the elemental for something evil because i'll only have to pay for it 3 times over... not cool! So any more information would be great! Thank you

You`re right, I share your opinion. And elementals ARE useful. I used mine to help me with my kinetik abilities, and now I`m more "powerful" just to call it that way. I didn`t live long, though. I killed my elemental after one day. Well, I didn`t actually do that, but i absoved it and put it in my Tan Tien or Hera as part of my energy. I sometimesuse it, but transform it into a fairy, or Navy (Zelda Ocarina of Time xD) and then to an angel that can help me!

What you said about the instructions would be really smart! And if you can do things naturally, please help me with pyrokinesis! xD just kidding... Laughing

lol.. I'm glad that someone agrees w/ me.

I'd help you out if i can... I have had a pk experience.. but i haven't played w/ it since. I slept over a friends house and when i woke there was a candle burning and something told me to play w/ it... so i did... I made the flame get bigger and smaller... it was so cool. I was so happy... the thing about being a natural is most times i don't know how i do things until i sit down and really thing about it. Things just happen.

Actually as i was replying to the post before this i accidently created an elemental... i wasn't trying to... i was just thinking about how to and what i'd program it to do and i was thinking about one of the instructions that i said in the previous statement and i heard a very clear "yes'... I freaked out and made it disappear...yikes! looks like i have to be more careful.

I'm woundering if i can make one to run "wild" so to speak... and its only mission is to help anyone out that needs it... who knows.. I'm too creative sometimes.. ok alot of the time.. i have a habit of making simple things brain surgery because i'm too creative.. its kinda annoying. I think making that one would require alot of programming... definately not a good one to start off with. Razz

-lol- I love ur stories! they`re cool...well u CAN, since everything is possible...actually...that was one of the missions of my elemental during the day (actually night..) it lived..but now that he`s inside me he`s also helping!...these last weeks, i`ve made decisions, that without me noticing, help me and the ones surrounding me!

Well, you can feed it with ANYTHING!---your energy, "real" food, or the energy of material things....or you can program your elemental to feed itself from , for example, the sun... xP Razz

Hi!

I read about elementals some years ago. In Chaos Magick are called Servitors. Traditionally magicians created elementals to aid them in some work and then it would be reabsorbed by the magician.
It is not wise to keep an elemental around much time unless its purpose is protection or you are using it daily and tracking it because the elementals are charged with emotional energy and will try to survive sticking to people with similar emotional energy and can become more powerful and even can create obsesive thoughts to the people it sticks to.

hello i'm stace and i'm a new member i two have created a couple artificial elementals i think i'm manageing one ok but the others obsessed with me they are a boy and a robot dog from jn i'm a bigger fan of the show then i thought i know it sounds corny but i have grown to like him very much he's sweet but can get a bit controlling i can't beleave i put up he can be such a pain and the dog i don't asosiate with that one i'ts forbidden i don't know realy what happend to that one but thier names are jimmy and godard i am so unconfortable about posting this but i thought it would be a interesting thing to tell.
