You're not a vampire. Nobody turned you. You stole your handle from The Covenant.
If you really want to get involved in some serious exploration of what's possible, you're going to be in for a wild ride and anything is possible. I've seen people give up on it (generally happens to most), go insane, and worse. Sites like Psipog will help you with the beginning stuff but they honestly don't care about your development; some of the moderators have even told people to stop wasting their time with their questions (or answered very rudely). VSociety has gone through numerous incarnations and I've seen them from their beginnings; they're helpful to some extent but also a big part of the problem, and killing many of the eggs before they hatch. There used to be a site called Jedi Academy that was pretty open but they shut down eventually after their founder quit and they had internal politics problems.
So, you really can't take anything you see online at face value. It might not even be there tomorrow. That and one person's truth or profound experiences might just be them tripping out. You'll have to decide for yourself who's advice is really valid.
I know it's hard trying to find your way - it is. But hiding behind some character, persona, or whatever, that's just going to make things more confusing. It's not going to help you discover who you really are, and it won't make your experiences as genuine. There are a few really good resources but it's going to take time, patience, and some work to get where you want to be, and you'll have to decide what's worth it and ask what it means to you and a bunch of other soul searching type questions, like who you are, what do you want out of life, how is this going to help you get what you want out of life or enhance who you are, etc.
Good luck though. If you are a creature of the night, or whatever kind of creature you are or become, make it your own creature. |
