Hello,
Ive had this site about atlantis bookmarked for a while and it shows what may very well be the lost continent of atlantis. Go down the page until you see what is a continent in between america and Europe in the Atlantic.

That doesnt seem bigger than asia by any extent, but it could be it!?!? What do yall think???

| Amadeaus: I n the time of Plato, Asia often referred to what we know as Asia Minor, which prtty much is present day Turkey. In the Bible, esp. Pauls epistles, the term Asia was often used to indicate this areaof the greco-Roman world. that being the case, your map would indeed be very accurate as to the size of Atlantis. |

| I've done lots of web research on atlantis and I do think that atlantis looks like that on your map. |

| Does anywone know if there have been oceanographers studying this area? I know there was a tribe of people who lived on the islands until the spainish whipped them out. There are also structures like steps that seem like they would have been very hard to build with the reasources those people had. Interesting map though. |

| I've used Nasa world wind and google earth to look at the middle of the atlantic ocean and while nasa doesn't show you pictures of the water, google earth shows you the underwater mountains and i've noticed that there is a underwater mountain ridge where the atlantis contenent was thought to be. |

| I'm not sure if this is entirely accurate, I'm going off of a documentary I watched about 8 years ago, but it was theorized that "larger than Libya and Asia" is actually a mistranslation from "between Libya and Asia" (I think it was translated from Hebrew, although don't quote me on that, but the words for "larger than" and "between" were a letter off), putting it somewhere south of Greece. |

| Actually i think it was a big contenent which had Islands that it owned generally, like how we have some off the coast in alaska and then hawaii etc... I think atlantis was spread all over the atlantic and lumeria was around the pacific |
