|
|
I'm pretty sure I have powers, every so often I know what's going to happen, I've known when a 10% chance event was going to happen several times, for example. I even think that I can manipulate events slightly. I have no idea how to do it at will though, does anyone know how I could improve them? |

Did you actually manipulate events , and if so what did you manipulate ?
What you are describing about your base talent is precognition . How do you sense these future events ? In a dream ? Gut instinct ? A hologram ? An inner voice ?
If you read some of my other posts , I would suggest starting with calibration . Start with past experiences and how things manifested . Include details like time of day , where , sensations , who was there , etc |

I just know what's going to happen, as simply as I observe "I have five fingers" or "the sky is blue" I just know what's going to happen. I've occasionly moved to dodge something that was coming from behind me without any conscious thought.
They usually work when I'm completely calm and not thinking. I've tried meditation several times to no effect, should I stick with that? I haven't noticed any other similarities, they've happened alone in my room and out and about.
I have an awful memory and can't actually remember the manipulation event, although at the time I was certain I caused it. That part may just be a load of rubbish then. If you know of anything that can help me develop that I'd be greatful.
I'm currently keeping a dream diary, and it would be nice to have a few predictive dreams if you know a way to do that. |

Yes you should stick with the meditation . It has benefits even if it might not help develop powers in your case .
What I suggest you do is each day countdown from 100 , then get out a pad and doodle . Just let things flow .
At a different time of the day do some calibration exercises like I suggest in the " Looking For A Master " thread in this subforum .

You sound like a full-blown clairvoyant to me
But yes, stick with the meditation. If you get into a relaxed enough state, you might be able to focus your intent into purposefully manipulating your precognative abilities.
I suggest getting some help with the memory thing, it could help with your development. There are certain meditations that you can do, but I forgot how to do them...
Also, have you looked into divination any? I read somewhere that people like you would be reeeeaaaally good at scrying.
Hope that helps!

After a month of general exercises , perhaps you could also do some of these things . These are events that have a definite random outcome .
Write down one to three stock symbols for each letter of the alphabet . I am guessing you process things on a kinetic / emotional level as compared to a visual or hearing based person . Like you have an instinct for something ...
Perhaps do this test as you get a feeling that a stock will go up , down , or stay the same .
Write down team names and scores , and sense things like the winner or even the score of the game .
You could also do things like who will win contests or award shows .
You could do these things in addition to the doodling . You might also want to pick up a book about dream symbols and dream interpretation . |

I'm also going to be starting to listen to a lucid dreaming tape. If it works, is there anything I can do in that state? |

The tip I can give you to check if you are having a lucid dream is this...
Go to the nearest light switch and try to turn it on or off. If it works, you aren't in a lucid dream. If it doesn't, you are in one.
I have used this tip and have found that so far, I've had three or so lucid dreams that centered around that without trying. |

Thanks. Am I just meant to do that a huge amount of times until I eventually dream it as well?
Also I meant is there anything I can do INSIDE the lucid dreams?
Thanks anyway, I'm sure it'll be very helpful. |

Oh and Dei? On Crickett's thread you mentioned talking to machines and dowsing, think you could explain some of that to me? |

The talking to machines is more or less talking to the artificial intelligences inside them. Since the brain is like a computer, interfacing with the computer or with a machine is actually something that is rather easy to learn. I myself gradually learned this by becoming attuned to computers, which required me to spend lots of time with them. I eventually started hearing the digitos, or "ghost in the machine", of my computer, respond whenever I talked to her. Yes, her.
It would take more practice to be able to interface or communicate with a non-computer related machine or A.I., though robots seem to respond well once you have a mastery over the basics of what I call technomancy, the art of interfacing with machines like computers and such, and also manipulating them to a point.
Technomancy itself is but a newly born discipline that anyone with a computer can start to learn, but it is very difficult to master, and doing so, in a sense, makes you lose part of what makes you human. You, in a sense, become more machine-like, analytical, and such. I have also noticed that technomancy has it's roots in psychic ability, and also in radionics to a point.
Now, as for the dowsing, I do dowsing without a pendulum. I made a post on it in the forums somewhere...
Dowsing without a Pendulum
I made it a few hours before I started to talk about a topic that probably would garner (marginally) more interest... Invisibility. Anyhow, read that topic, and you will know part of what I know.
As for applications of dowsing, here are just a few... determining location of lost items, divining for water, scrying the future, Huna, finding the best house to buy, seeing if there is MSG in your Chinese food, etc.
Huna, by the way, is a form of Hawaiian High Magic that involves working with your Higher Self. It involves the use of pendulums.
And a tip for dowsing... If you ask a question of the pendulum or what not of something that you are emotionally attached to, you are likely to only get an answer that you WANT to hear, not what you NEED to hear. |
