[b] Hello!!
I am new to this board and may very well be in the wrong place on this forum. I am wondering if anyone out there can give me some insight into my sons health? I am often intuitive but it seems to fail me with him. Possibly clouded by fear? He is 7, in good help, with the except of asthma. I would love to hear anyone's perspective on this area of illness. I wonder if this is something my energy can create for him due to my fear? Or is it a weakness within his own chakra feilds that I have no control over? Or is my trying to control it causing it? hahahaa Gotta laugh at myself sometimes.
I would greatly appreciate any persons input and thoughts on this.
Thank you kindly,
faith |

| Hello. I was diagnosed with asthma at age 11 or 12, and I've found that eating more fruits and vegetables is alleviates the symptoms, and reduce the risk of attacks. I've also heard that fish helps, most likely due to the Omega 3. The majority of asthma cases are to some extent genetic, so your worrying probably isn't related, though he may pick up on your emotions and become worried as well. I would also advise having him do breathing exercises twice daily. The one I've always done is taking 10 or so rapid breathes, then take 3 large breaths. Repeat for about a minute. Hope this helps! |

| I agree.. breathing exercises are a great idea.. There are also other things like swimming, which can also help socially and he might like it too.. |

Asthma is Vitamin C hungry - use a 1000mg dose of Calcium Ascorbate (non-acid) daily - and during winter or when asthma flares use 4,000mg per day - if chest infection up to 10,000mg - also take particular care to see that Vit D is optimum - either through sunshine and adequate Vit A in diet or a supplement daily - cover from a High Dose Multi mineral and Vitamin supplement recommended daily - Omega 3/6/9's very important in health of lung tissue and circulation also - see Orthomolecular Medicine websites for more info |
