|
|
Okay, about 30 minutes or so ago, I started listening to a sound file that is supposed to induce lucid dreams, while trying to take a nap. Almost immediately I found myself moving around the house and the outside of it while still conscious of what I was doing. I was moving at around the speed of thought. This was trippy as trippy could be.
The funny thing is, it didn't stop when I woke up. Every time I close my eyes, I see the astral and such perfectly now. As it started, one of my guides was... shaking me, I think, because she seemed worried, while another sat and watched. I could see them perfectly!
So, how long do side effects like these last? Am I the only one who has experienced a surge in the ability to see the astral and such after lucid dreaming, or do others experience it to.
Discuss. |

I had a similar experience about a month ago. I was using one of my hemi-sync tapes for astral projection, and shortly after I started, I was suddenly jerked out of my body and into the yard. Generally, there's a period of time where I gradually feel like I'm slipping away, so this was very odd. After looking around a bit, I saw a spiritual friend that I hadn't seen in years. I rushed towards him, but was only able to stay in the astral long enough to see him up close. After that, I stood up and was in my room. However, when I looked out the window and closed my eyes, I could see the astral as perfectly as before. The ability only remained for about ten minutes, but in that time I was able to do some tests to ensure that it wasn't just my imagination. |

The effect of seeing the astral and such still remains. I forgot to mention that normally I can see the astral at least partially with little effort in most cases, but the effects of lucid dreaming amplified it.
Also, the effects were at there strongest while I was awake and still listening to the isochronic tone I was using. So I'm guessing a certain combination that induces lucid dreams also amplifies seeing the astral while awake.
I'm going to try an experiment where I listen to the isochronic tone I used before while meditating in a way that simulates sleep to see what that does. I'll get back to you on that in about 30 minutes |

As I thought.... When using the same isochronic tone used for lucid dreaming while meditating instead of sleeping, astral projection is what occurs. However, the sight effect still remains.
Also, listening to the tone while doing ordinary things allows astral sight to be improved, if not perfected. However, it does disorient one's self. |

Yes, they are very beautiful. The ones I have all for some reason, even if not intended, help me project and see things astrally and aurically a lot better, at the cost of disorientation and possibly tiredness. But it's worth it. |

Yeah that's the link. There are not only just "spiritual" tones there, but also ones for inducing various "safe highs". And they are all free. Also, you can request tones to be made. |

Be careful of the "safe highs". They probably aren't very safe at all. When your brain starts releasing chemicals such as dopamine and seratonin with assistance, it stops doing it normally. These "safe highs" have a potential (not much is known about them) for dependence or other related harm. They may be safe and may not. Be careful.
As for the "spiritual" tones, I don't know much about them, but be careful with them, too. |

Yes, that's true.
However, there is no "coming down" from a Gameboy or microwave oven or wheel like there would be from this technology. Likewise, other more conventional technologies don't mess with the way your brain functions at the chemical level, and have less potential for psychological dependence.
Just be careful. That's all I'm saying. There are safe doses of everything, and harmful doses. Try to stay with the former, and do your best to avoid the latter.
If you find yourself feeling anxious, depressed, hyperactive, or anything else out of the normal, you should stop. The same goes if you start exhibitting "Drug seeking behavior", such as looking for excuses to get back to the software, bargaining to gain access to it ("well, if I do it one more time now, I won't want to later tonight", etc.), or putting these "safe highs" above responsibilities or previous engagements or even other things you enjoy, then you definitely need to stop.
Just. Be. Careful. That's all I'm saying, and that's enough to keep my conscience clear. The rest is up to you. |
