Okay, so I'm new here. And perhaps I should be posting in the "introduction" area but it seems there is little conversation there and I am a bit more curious, than just a "hi."

All these topics in these forums interest me greatly! And I've always felt something different about myself than others, more in touch with my inner self and thoughts than physically.

I have a few questions, don't feel obligated to answer all, only those you feel you can or are willing to share on Very Happy

I've looked most of these ideas/things up but I am looking for futher imput from those who've experienced / deal with these ideas.

1. What is the astral plane? And how does one go about accessing it?
2. Psi balls .. and energy in general, how can energy be transferred into making things happen?
3. "Kin", how do people know that their souls are non-human? And Awakening.. what is that?
4. Sub conscious mind .. and 'higher self' what are these things ?
5. Chakras .. I know what they are.. but what's with opening them and such, and what does that do?
6. Are all these psychic and mind powers scientifical in any way (cause of the whole energy thing .. ) because we hear what bogus it is from our society, but I beg to differ.

I have so many questions and am interested in so many things, I'm trying to take it all in, vaguely at first, anyway.

I've always felt that I could sense peoples feelings, or I could sense the general idea of their thoughts (not word for word, but .. topically) I've also felt a deep connection with nature and such a like around me. I feel sometimes I can just feel and sense the ... aliveness in non-verbal life. I have and rely deeply on my intuition.. and I often feel underlying thoughts about predicting .. anything really.

For instance, if there were 3 pennies, and you told me to pick which one was 1988, I would just focus and "feel" which one it was .. and be right. Now, frankly, this does not happen all the time by any means, and sometimes I just think I'm stupid and imagining things, but its really a feeling and I don't feel its "chance."

Now, I'm Christian, and am deeply spiritual and in love with my faith. But ever since I was a small girl, I have been interested in these such things, .. things unknown and unexamined by most around me, and I have and still do feel bad / guilty about being interested in them, and wanting to increase my abilitie(s)?

Right now I am training myself to see auras, one day at a time. Auras (for some reason) have been resting on my mind, so I decided to look them up and learn my best to see them. I've known what they are (and I was actually deeply into these such things when I was like .. 11..I'm now 16... but still kind of young to know exactly what I was doing, but I tried to see them, then became bored) and I think the reason I am okay, mentally, with them because it is something I can see, even though they do consist of energy (am I correct)? I have had doubt in all these 'mystical' things, yet I believe in God which, is hypocritical. But it's really what all society tells how, which I tend to go along a different path, and how I was brought up.

I know the more I understand and experience these notions myself, I will be more comfortable with them. I do, believe, as well, that I can still be a Christian and involve myself in these techniques, because although they came about from various origins, I don't see how they must affect one another.

I'm slightly confused, as you can tell, and am just trying to absorb everything I see, and just get the basic idea of what everything is on here. I think its best I focus on Auras right now, though. One thing at a time.

Welcome here! This is one forum, I can vouch for , where many of those little "missing pieces" of your "Jigsaw puzzle" are sure to be found. The reason being, we always look for answers, and sometimes it is without asking questions. Being here is like being amidst a lot of ppl who are Spiritual and often the answers found somewhere in threads! Smile

Spirituality according to me is being "aware" than anything else.
we all live in this wonderful world... alas which is corrupted by resentment, so called growth, material ambitions, inhuman competition, misuse of technology and so much more!
despite all of the above and much more, being consciously aware of "sense of act" is the separating boundary between people who are spiritual and those who are not.

I do not advocate any religion, neither am I against. Hence I dont see Religion and Spirituality as Synonyms. NO offence to anyone Smile

1,2,3 can be better explained by somebody more profound and write better. Smile

Subconscious mind / higher self....the Hindus call soul "atma" and the higher self "parmatma"...meaning your soul is a part of the larger "spirit". all the "purpose of life" is within that Higher "Spirit". Your "higher Self" is wat connects you to the Higher Spirit. you can call it your soul as wel Smile

all that you sense and perceive is through 5 senses...that is your physical self...your "conscious" self..
your 6th and more subtle sense is what lies deep within your "subconscious"
the root of all psychic abilities, according to me lies in bridging the gap between your conscious and subconscious self...hence popularly known as "6th sense" awakening.. Smile

Chakras.
Again a Hindu word. Chakra in Sanskrit means a wheel. hence chakras represent those basic energy centres in the body, and since these energy centres are more like vortexes, hence the name Smile

these are believed to be our "connection" points with our astral. also these are energy centres which are not physical present as glands, rather only felt. All the energy required by your astral self is thru these energy centres. wen you speak of opening the chakras, it basically implies to be "aware" of these energy centres. they are for real, since opening up your chakras lead to remarkable changes in ure psyche, in ure daily lives as well. its a simple rule isnt it, more "aware" u become of ure surrounding and the "systems" around u, the more calmer and sound you become.
by meditation, you can open the chakras.
opening would also imply you can begin to receive and send the "energy"..
and since you are so much intersted in seeing Auras, the energy for your Aura comes from these chakras ! Smile

it is a matter of faith, since most of the energy work is subtle. you dont have concrete proof with physical experience.
BUT, i have had several experiences, for which I believe in Psychic Ability to be true!
for me, i have enough evidence thru experience itself that energy work is for real.
Yes, science demands Physical Evidence al the time...and people like James Randi too exist who are all out to prove any paranormal activity as bogus. but if you believe you shall see!

you dont see electricity, but you know something flows.. the results are there to see. so you dont question the existence.

Nice explanation as usual, AlphaLEO. I don't know much about number 1, but I wish to later. Same with number 3. As for two:

2. Psi balls are simply that: balls of psi, chi, prana, orgone, life force, whatever you want to call it. Balls of pure energy. Energy manipulation is mostly about mind power. If you think it, it will happen. For example, if you visualize taking energy from the clouds, and forming it into a bubble around you, you will have an energy bubble. Simple as that.
