First, put your hands about 6 inches apart. Some people like to clap until they get a light tingle, but i find it unnecessary. Next, visualize energy traveling from your gut traveling up to your shoulders, then flowing down your arm until it reaches your hands. Now, push the energy out of your hands into the space between them. Picture a sphere a few inches in diameter. Allow the energy to fill the sphere, becoming larger as more energy is added. At this point, you will most likely feel your hands being pushed back. Allow this to happen, then push them back together, and feel the ball becoming denser. Once you can create a fairly strong psi-ball, or if you would like alternate methods, head over to psi-pog. Good luck!

If CJ's strategy doesn't work for you, try this: first gather energy from an external source. (Imagine energy flowing from the sun, the moon, clouds, sea, whatever, and see it gather up in your naval chakra.) Next, take this energy and coax it into your hands instead of forcing it. Imagine your own energy flowing with the external energy, but don't force it.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with CJ's technique, keep in mind. It's just that different people do it different ways. Experiment, just do what feels right.

Hope that helps!!!

In order to create a psi-ball visible to the average person, it needs to be extremely dense. The easiest way to create a dense psi-ball is to slowly pull your hands apart, allowing the psi-ball to grow with it. Then, slowly bring your hands back together, making the psi-ball shrink with it. You could also just pour more energy in the way you did when first creating a psi-ball, but most find the first method easier. If you are new to psi-balls, you might want to get some more practice through http://psipog.net/art-fun-with-psiballs.html As for adding elements to your psi-balls, it depends on the technique you use to control said element. Electricity is one of the easier ones, as you can just use the method described in the "Newbie Needs Help" thread, and apply it to psi-balls instead of a TV or radio. Creating a hot or cold psi-ball can be a little confusing for some, as one of the primary methods of pyro/cryokinesis is adding/removing energy. In this case, your best option is visualization. For a cold psi-ball, just pretend that you're molding a ball of snow instead. For a hot psi-ball, picture a miniature sun between your hands.

I see the black dots, too, but sometimes I see a faint blue. . . blob. Not so much a ball at this stage 0_o
I'm getting better, though. I can make it a bit stronger and a bit more visible than when I started. I can also pull it off in less than an eternity (my frst success took a long, long time to actually dredge up a ball, rather than random evaporating energy.)
