I'm wondering if any of you can help me out here?

For the past 6 months or so I've been getting a gut feeling that I'm here on Earth, at this precise time, because I have a very special purpose to fulfil. I thought I was just reading too many esoteric literatures, prophecies and debating some of the wackiest ideas me and my friends can produce about conspiracy theory’s.

Unknown to them I've always read Occult books and had a fascination with Magic. Over the past 18 months my reading has intensified, and now I read, every night or whenever I have the chance, at least 10 pages of a magic book or surf out information that I seem to be subconsciously deeming to be a use to me in the near future.

I've never even cast a spell yet or even thought about it. I have been regulary attending a bi-weekly group ritual. In which I have been watching with keen interest, how the room is seperated from the worlds energys, so no other influence can disrupt the work, how the group create the new energy flow, how the circle is cast and I've been paying special attention to even the most minute detail. So much so, others have commented on this fact to me.

I never thought much about this, but just about everytime I meditate now I do the following:-

I balance my main charkas and using my minds eye, create a force field around myself, declaring that I'm fit, healthy and that no harm can come to me through this shield. I then deepen my mediation and picture that I'm walking up a countrylane, in summer. I open a gate that I approach, and enter. When I enter I ask to speak to my spirit guide, and sure enough, everytime appears the same strange little flying creature thats my guide. I usually spend between 10 to 30 minutes discussing things with my guide then I depart, thanking them for thier help.

More recently though, my guide has started to tell me to prepare myself and begin to develop my mind so that I can control material objects with it, which he has told me is my special art. I'm also being told how to 'super-reinforce' my aura/force field, and the reason for doing so is that a nameless group have detected my advancement and they know that I'll be a major part of those who stand against them.

I actually thought I was losing my mind alittle, so one day, I went to back to my guide and let him know that I'd be disappearing for a while. I gave my reasons and left. During my time away from my guide, I still meditated as usual trying different techniques.

Now for the thing that suprised me. I was trying to develop my Will and move a small piece of paper move using my minds eye. After many, many attempts, I was feeling like it was all my vivid imagination as nothing happened. I was on the verge of giving up and thinking about trying candle magic or something, when during another attempt I felt a huge surge of energy flow straight from my feet, right to the top of my head, back down , into my shoulders and exit by my hands, which were placed near the paper. At this point, I saw the paper lift 3-4mm from the table and in seeing this got a fright, thus the experience went. I tried again but had no luck.

I soon went back to my spirit guide and this time there were loads of them, not only my usual one. He approched me and congratulated me for my progress. All the other spirits were all kneeling on thier left knee with thier heads bowed. My guide turned round and introduced me as another name, which sounded Eygptian. Everyone then stood up and shouted some like 'All Hail, (The name I heard), The One Who Seeks Light Who Has Now Awoken. Ahem OMMMMM Ahem OMMMMM.' My guide then asked me to leave and to return soon.

I personally think that I've read too much and its affected my imagination, but inside me, I have a feeling that what I've described is true. I now feel that I'm starting to have an inner battle, with one half telling me my mind made it up and the other half, saying embrace it.

Can anyone help me before I get too confused?

Hi, I am new to this site, but what you wrote struck me and I felt the need to respond. I think we have all had the inner battle to believe or not to believe our experiences, feelings, visions, and such. I still battle this from time to time, less often than I used to. What I can offer is to tell you to believe. Yes, it can all feel like fantasy sometimes, but it isn't. Yes, we can have our ego jump up and tell us that we are "special" and "important", and that can get in the way of growing, learning and can honestly be a pain in the butt to other people. But the feeling you are describing hasn't eased, hasn't changed, hasn't lessened, and probably won't. From what you've described, you aren't pointing to yourself, proclaiming that you are some sort of super hero, sent to defend the helpless, but more along the lines of being part of something bigger than yourself, and merely doing your part of the bigger story. I've watched the changes occurring in many people, myself included, for the past 5 years. More and more, people are waking up, more and more, people are figuring out that materialistic needs and wants aren't what it's all about, and more and more people are asking why they are here. That is the truth that everyone needs to seek. What I sense from you is that you have become very methodical in your quest for knowledge, insight, and growth. Now it's time to actually put some of that to use, to experience it. So, explore, experiment, and learn how to actually do the things you have read about, of course avoiding bringing harm to anyone else. And always ALWAYS trust your gut. Not your head, not your heart, as both can be manipulated. The gut is the true source of energy, your core. I hope this wasn't just babble, and that it tells you what you needed to hear. I'm merely the messenger.

After reading this case file and consulting my guide, I decided to ask a few of the higher ups about you "Ee".

Let's just say you are very special, possibly something like me in a sense. Let me just ask you a few things... in private.

Hi, i joined to reply to this subject. First off let me say I am a very realistic person but very open minded. I see this forum is very much about magic and other things which I am not used to and sceptical of. I came here to discuss the feeling of a greater purpose. I have had it almost all of my life. Im not sure what it has to do with but it is there. I feel different from everyone. I feel i dont belong. This does not bother me or make me feel lonely. I just want to figure it out so I can pursue this purpose. The realistic side of me wants to find scientific explantions for these feeling but i believe it no matter what. I just dont know where to turn. You guys seem to know a little more than me about this subject. I hope you can help.

Rage, you and I seem a lot alike. I too am a rational, science-driven person who is open-minded about new ideas. And I too feel that I have another purpose, though I have no idea what it is. You are not alone here.

Perhaps there is a purpose. Perhaps not. Who knows? I sure don't. But I'm certainly willing to explore the possibility.

have you ever seen the show "Quantum Leap"? That's what life can feel like sometimes - you're put here to do something and then you're put somewhere else to do something else, but you don't always know what set of circumstances will have to take place before you "leap" again.
