Hello,
I am Reiki Master since 2001 and being working on myself in order to grow spiritually - even receiving many attunements to help me on that. Also have read many books about spiritual development, like Listening to the Holy Spirit, Channeling. and somehow I am not having the experiences I would like to, perhaps my ego is wanting such experiences...
What is missing on that issue? What is hidden from me? What should I do to get clear feelings and to really hear the voice of the Holy Spirit that I am very keen to? Do I deserve this gift?

I'm not so experienced as a few of the other psychics in this forum, but the way I see it is, everyone *deserves* to hear the Holy Spirit, but not everyone *wants* to. I'm not saying you don't, but perhaps you're dwelling on how much you're not hearing Her (or Him, if you prefer) as opposed to *letting* yourself hear Her/Him. The trick is to desire a communication link, then to let the message get to Her/Him.

Nothing's missing or hidden... just let go of the idea that you can't do it and you'll be able to. If it helps maybe you could try sitting down in a quiet place induce yourself into a light trance/meditate and ask these questions of yourself. You'd be surprised what that can accomplish. 
Also if you happen to be a bit restless sometimes you don't even have to sit, hehe. Last year sometime I walked through a quieter part of my neighborhood and the scenery helped me into a very nice trance/meditative state.
