Does anyone here practice Falun Gong?

I have questions about it and cannot find a forum on the website..

Hi: There's a falun gong website that offers a lot of info on the practice and free video downloads of the major "postures". I practiced for a while some years back and found it helpful. You might want to see my post on *self attunement* for Reiki, etc. Those programs help, too Smile

hey

would love to give it a try but am i permittef to while practising falun gong?
I have a book on falun gong and have been practising for the last few months. I agree, it is helpful.. It says in the book not to practice similar systems simultaneously as the falun might turn "awry"..

Falun Gong is good qigong. I'm wary on some of the philosophies myself but the practice is good enough.

CuriousGuy -- i don't think that FG and Reiki are at all mutually exclusive. As a matter of fact, the reiki will aid the flow of chi through you and thus enhance the effects of FG, in my view. I took up FG after doing reiki for many years and had no problems at all.

I have actually been looking for something to practise in conjunction with falun gong so will definitely give it a try.. Falun Gong has been very good so far, except for the third exercise (penetrating the 2 cosmos) where i seem not to get the same feeling as in the other 4 exercises.. Will it come in time or shud i be visualizing something before the actual exercise?

I have to say Falun Gong in China itself is a no-no topic.

I don't want to say too much because i've been to China and intend to visit again to return in one piece.

In a nutshell there is alot of politics involved in Falun Gong.

That's all I want to say.

I'm actully refreshed members brought up discussion about it here as it is a very powerful healing art/energetics.

Go ahead and discuss the dynamics and more about it but remember to stay away from the Politics as it's not our place to get involved.
