Im trying to find information on siddhis that u can't find on the internet. I already know its spiritual powers and there existence is questionable. That there are 8 main siddhis and a lot of minor ones. Siddhis can be gain from pranayama, herbs, mantras and from the kundalini. I would like to find information that you wouldn't find on the internet. Like mantras u can recite to gain them or secret pranayama or a location to go to to c siddhis demonstrated or go to learn anything about them. If u have any information like that please post.

Ahh yes. The Siddhis.

I myself am engrossed in it all and further more about producing innovative ways to induce them.

With that said i'll be travelling to India sometime next year to gather more in-depth knowledge.

There are many Masters that have mastered these fields in India especially living in the Himalayan Mountain Caves..

You were definately drawn here due to synchronicity.

I know we have members who are resident in India. When I get some time i'll try to invite some knowledgable parties here.

In the mean time we can continue discussing it and anyone else is free to have their input.

I was thinking about traveling to India also, but in 2 years. I got to make the money for a ticket and figure out where im going to stay and a translator. Until then im hoping i can find more information beyond what i find on google. Good luck on ur trip next year.

Hello Siddhi

You will have trouble finding real info on siddhis. Most webs sites offer information that is different. So it gets confusing.

In many esoterical traditions the info around spiritual powers are deliberatly keept secret. That wont help you either. One author that describes and talks about them is Carlos Castaneda. Try his books.

Siddhis are something that anyone would desire, but my opinion is that the real appeal of spirituality is inner peace, freedom. If siddhis come with that, then great.

I've never heard of herbs that give siddhis, although some powerful drugs might trigger them shortly(wich I dont recommend to you). I dont think there is an easy way to get siddhis.

One yoga master said; if you practice deligently, siddhis will come eventualy.

I figured that might be the cause. That's why I decided to visit temples in India or Tibet next year. Im having a hard time chosing where to go.

The only problem is i need a lead on siddhis. Like areas in India or Tibet where it might have been seen in more than just once or tablets or libraries only acccessible to students of raja yoga or something like that.

siddhi, even if you go to Tibet or India, you wont find much help if you are just out to get siddhis.
Masters will look down on you if you are after personal gain...

Yes spirituality is for personnal gain, but gain in the heart. If siddhis come with that also, then great.

I have a good advice for you...
-Starting today, meditate 2 hours a days and do yoga for one hour.
Do even more... Include tai-chi and chi-kung for another hour.
Do this for five to twenty years and you will have your siddhis.

Travel inside of yourself...

There is no easy way to enlightment.

Actually thats necessarily true though. Even though most yogic paths wants people to ignore siddhis, i have actually heard that some paths want u to go after them as a way of expanding your knowledge. I can't specifically tell u which path, and that's what im searching for.

4 hours of ascetic practice a day, and some patience...

-2 hours of meditation
-1 hour of yoga
-1 hour of tai-chi

Siddhi I'm serious.

Take classes in meditation, yoga and tai-chi. Practice them as much as you can for several years, and see what happens. Read as much as you can on anything spiritual. Imerse yourself in the mystical. Desire and seek what is hidden, and you will get your siddhis.

I dont know what is your experience or your motivation, but I know you will need a lot of both to undertake your search...

As for siddhis, they are a reality, I believe it.

hai friend there are 8 main siddis they are
* Aṇimā: reducing one's body even to the size of an atom

* Mahimā: expanding one's body to an infinitely large size

* Garima: becoming infinitely heavy

* Laghimā: becoming almost weightless

* Prāpti: having unrestricted access to all places

* Prākāmya: realizing whatever one desires

* Iṣṭva: possessing absolute lordship;

* Vaśtva: the power to subjugate all.
they are ultimate powers which makes any one equal with powers of god
i.e equql to GOD they cannot be attained easily
