Here's an interesting tool that I found on the net that turns your computer into a scrying tool. It is written as a 3D simulation of a spinning crystal ball and what you do is allow yourself to relax and focus on the question, just as you would do with other divination techniques, such as Tarot, etc.

Here is what the Readme.txt that comes with the software, states:
"Skrying, or Crystal Ball Gazing has been a traditional form of Divination since Ancient times. With the use of the Personal Computer screen we can promote the art into the Cyber-Age and benifit from it's use. Twenty-two Archetypal 3D Objects have been chosen to convey messages to the inquirer.
Upon starting the program you will see firstly the Title Screen and then a clouded Skrying Ball. Formulate a question to be answered or simply center yourself and prepare for the current Portends.. When you are ready, press the 'Enter' button on the keyboard and the Ball will clear and a 3D object appear. Keyword meanings appear at the bottom of the screen. Useful Skrying to you.."
