I found myself on escitalopram 20mg and risperidone 2mg after a period of severe anxiety. In retrospect I reason the anxiety came from a psychic attack, although I have no idea of the source.
I tried to reduce the risperidone to 1mg, but became agitated and developed constant tics and the anxiety got worse again. I'm now addicted to these drugs and won't consider risking my mental health anytime soon. The reason why I went on them was anxiety about what would happen if I didn't. I have been brainwashed into believing the drugs are good, due to the fear of returning to the way I perceive I was before. In moments of clarity I try to get off these drugs, which are shown to shrink the frontal lobe, cause tardive dyskinesia in about 20 percent of patients on risperidone and increase the risk of stroke and heart attack by double!
Has anyone had similar experiences?
How can I tell where the psychic attack came from? |

| Don't worry about replying to this thread. After a bit of thought I realize I wasn't brainwashed and the drugs have helped. But a few things have led me to believe in a psychic attack from a spirit.[/list] |

| bro I also take risperdone and it has fucked up my life. I have constant tongue and mouth twiching. Im tired alot. And my brain always feels like there is a blanket of fog over it. but I still meditate and do spiritual practice. Actually thats one reason im on it. I believed in astral projection and the paranormal and my parents thought i was crazy. They sent me to a doctor and he told me there are no ghost. no such thing as astral projection or any other spiritual thing. I disagreed and got put on meds. go figure |
