Side note: I have just now started writing my Chakra Lifepath book and workbook, and will be adding the inserts of both the Chakra Lifepath book and the workbook here, as I said I would. Sorry I am a little late with it, but I am a busy bee. Laughing
------------------------------------------------------------
Verse One: What is a Chakra?

What is a chakra you ask? A chakra is spiritual energy that emits from a certain center in the body. There are seven chakras. The seven chakras are:
Muladhara - Most commonly known as the Root Chakra ( Red )
Swadhisthana - Most commonly known as the Sacral Chakra ( Orange )
Manipura - Most commonly known as the Solar Plexus Chakra ( Yellow )
Anahata - Most commonly known as the Heart Chakra ( Green )
Vishuddha - Most commonly known as the Throat Chakra ( Blue )
Ajna - Most commonly known as the Brow Chakra ( Indigo )
Sahasrara - Most commonly known as the Crown Chakra ( Violet )
There is a reason I put a color in parenthesis next to each common chakra name, that is the color that center emits when that chakra is open, and also how I will refer to the chakra in this book, I associate and call them by name by there color. The study of chakras can be used for both therapy, healing and discipline, depending on its context. Chakras are based in different religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Tantric philosophy, Qigong, Kabbalah and Taoism, just to name a few.

Sahasrara/ Crown Chakra/ Violet is generally considered to be the chakra of pure consciousness. This chakra is tied to wisdom or gaining more wisdom. This chakra center is the power of the mind and the death of the body, this is the beginning of mans existence. This chakra's inner aspect deals with the release of karma, physical action with meditation, mental action with universal consciousness and unity, and emotional action with "beingnness".

Ajna/ Brow Chakra/ Third Eye/ Indigo is generally considered to be the chakra of foresight and perception. This chakra's key issues involve balancing the higher and lower selves and trusting inner guidance. This chakra's inner aspect relates to the access of intuition. emotions, as well as dealing with clarity on an intuitive level.

Vishuddha/ Throat Chakra/ Blue is generally considered to be linked to communication and expression of oneself. This chakra governs communication, emotionally it governs independence, mentally it governs fluent thought, and spiritually, it governs a sense of security.

Anahata/ Heart Chakra/ Green is related to the color green or pink. This chakra associates with many number of things, this is the halfway marker of dealing with both spiritual and psychical demands, this chakra balances self love and love of others, and this chakra deals with empathy and the nurturing of souls. The key issues involving this chakra involve complex emotions, compassion, tenderness, unconditional love, equilibrium, rejection and well being. Physically this chakra governs circulation, emotionally it governs unconditional love for the self and others, mentally it governs passion, and spiritually it governs devotion.

Manipura/ Solar Plexus Chakra/ Yellow key issues governed by this chakra are issues of personal power, fear, anxiety, opinion-formation, introversion, and transition from simple or base emotions to complex. Physically, this chakra governs digestion, mentally it governs personal power, emotionally it governs expansiveness, and spiritually, all matters of growth.

Swadhisthana/ Sacral Chakra/ Orange is connected deeply with sexuality. The key issues involving this chakra are relationships, violence, addictions, basic emotional needs, and pleasure. Physically, this chakra governs reproduction, mentally it governs creativity, emotionally it governs joy, and spiritually it governs enthusiasm.

Muladhara/ Root Chakra/ Base Chakra/ Red is the center of life. The key issues of this chakra involves sexuality, lust and obsession. Physically, this chakra governs sexuality, mentally it governs stability, emotionally it governs sensuality, and spiritually it governs a sense of security.

There are seven chakras, three focus in the spiritual world, and three in the physical world, one being the trafficking center for both worlds. Red, Orange and Yellow are in the physical world. Blue, Indigo and Violet are in the spiritual world. Green is the center that channels between both worlds.

Verse Three: Colors and Color Combinations

There are seven chakra colors as we have discovered, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. There are sub colors as well, such as white, black, grey, brown, turquoise and pink. The only purpose of sub colors is the determine the shade of the key color. The key colors are, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. The sub colors also have one meaning, while the key colors have numerous meanings. Here are the sub colors and there meanings:

White means spirituality, religious, system of beliefs (note: If you had a shade of white mixed into your personality color that would normally mean your a person of faith, or you strong beliefs)

Black means negativity. No one can be positive all the time, from time to time we have to be real, hard and negative to get the point across, a little black in a color is okay, too much black is a bad thing.

Grey means realist. Grey is a mixture of black and white, so in a sense it is both good and bad, a realist, someone who sees life at both ends of the spectrum, someone who sees both the facts and fantasy to things.

Turquoise is the psychiatrist/ humanitarian of colors, its a combination of green, blue and white and has the ability to express feelings, communicate well and know how to use its wisdom to give direction to lost souls.

Pink is the emotional hostility of a person, sometimes are emotions can get caught up in whatever were doing and drive us to be irrational, argumentative and sometimes hostile.

Brown means foundation. This is a very family strung person who is the way they are because that is how everyone in the family is.

These sub colors can add depth to a personality chakra. Let the example below help demonstrate:

I am an indigo lifepath color. To make indigo you mix red, white and blue, to make a very royal lavender color that it is, but I can be very emotionally hostile, so my mix of colors would be blue and pink, pink is still a combination of red and white, but I do not meet the qualities of just a red or a white.

Verse Four: Chakra Layers

The chakras can actually be broken in seven layers, which correspond with characteristic, because like anyone, we have a personality, but there our layers, depth to us. Just like the sub colors, the layers add more depth to the chakra lifepath color. The layers are as listed:

* Red - Etheric which is assoicated with touch and feelings. Pleasure in the senses.
* Orange - Emotional which is associated with emotional status, whether it is negative or positive.
* Yellow - Lower Mental which is assoicated with concern with the rational world.
* Green - Higher Mental which is associated with the connections to the world, whether it be through human or animal or nature interactions, high involvement with relationships.
* Blue - Spiritual which is assoicated with what is divine, free will and communication.
* Indigo - Casual which is associated with what we experience in the spirit world and what influences it has in our lives.
* Violet - Ketheric which is assoicated with higher truth.

The next verses will be breaking down the colors, in every spectrum. After I break down the colors, then I will break down the colors vs sub colors, colors vs layers and then elaborate on how you identify what is your lifepath color and what you have to face when your that color.
