Crystal Clearing
is not as important as we may think

I have found that the whole clearing crystals thing is way overdone. Most crystals most of the time are self clearing , The purpose of mostclearing is to enable the people to clarify their ability to connect with the crystals. Often crystal clearing is done because we are shifting responsibility for our cloudiness to our crystal companions. Most of the time when a crystal does need clearing it will ask.

Crystals often accept energy and attention in the form of clearing the same way we might take a day at the spa a refreshing pause. These efforts help us clarify our intention and intuition. My crystals that like sun, get some sun. My crystals that like moon get some moonlight. Some of the crystals in my home rest occasionally on other crystal clusters, I even smudge at times more for the house and family than for the stones. I do have some in the flower petals drying for potpourri. Clearing is largely for the benefit of the humans, for the most part it can mute those distracting memory imprints that bother people so that we connect with our intuition and with the crystal spirit/Deva.

While sometimes crystals do absorb and hold energies that people don't do well with, those energies do not usually bother the stones. Even the witness stones from Dachau and Buchenwald which carry painful energies and imprints as a testimonial and lesson are not themselves harms or impeded by those energies. ( intelligent filters are often placed around them to shield those who must work around them but do not need the lesson) I do have a clearing energy in my crystal empowerment set which was given me by the crystal Deva .The crystals like it, however I get that it mainly gives us children something to help us develop our skills and because at the time I was given the set we all expected to need to clear our crystals all the time. Intention can bring any energies you or the crystals need into an area.

You can Offer clearing or charging or other energies and methods as a part of your respect and gratitude Many crystals and other beings, trees etc., do enjoy accepting energies and attention. They will refuse what they do not wish and may help you with guidance on your work. Rather than being something that must be done or something that removes possible danger to you or " tames the beast" Any clearing is part of your process of developing a relationship with the crystals an action of ceremonial and spiritual communion . it could a kind of party to celebrate that connection and the blessings from the relationship.

So if you were a crystal and this were a party for crystals what kind of treats would you like ?

Just a quick note to applaud the author on this important insight.

I love working with Earth and each and every stone I touch has it's own wonderful energy that I try to enjoy just as it is. I avoid putting my intentions I to the stones so that I may learn deeper messages from the planet.
I also find that the things of nature tend to release energy quickly and effeciently to promote the higher mind of the planet. Like the author, I do understand that clearing ceromonies help us connect to the stones so for that purpose, it's worth the effort but not necessary. This planet and all it's parts takes care of itself better than we ever could. I've never met a hostile or hateful stone.
