Here is something interesting that I was thinking about the last 2 months. I was growing up in a very Religious home My father is a pastor, so I was use to go to church 2 times on a Sunday and also 1 or 2 times a week bible study. I am now 30 and 2 years ago my wife and I received our first baby boy and now 2 weeks ago our baby girl. I love my children so much there isn’t any thing in the world I wouldn’t do for them they are my every thing. I will offer my life for them in a heard beet.

Now I was thinking about the Heaven and Hell thing that the church and the bible teach us. The bible and the church say that we are Gods children and he is our father. And if we don’t listen we are going to hell and what is hell? Well the bible says a place of endless torment and suffering, so for me it is the worst kind of torturing any thing you could imagine. There can not be any more torturing you can get.

Well I am a father now do I want it for my child no matter how angry my child makes me. NO I will not let my child suffer if I can help it. Well the bible say it is easier to go the hell as to go to heaven. Well if I was God I would destroy hell before one of my children end up in it.

If you are a parent and you know something can hurt your child, what do you do? You take that thing away or destroys it before you child gets hurt. Because I love my kids so much that I would do any thing so that they will never suffer. That is the reason I don’t believe in hell any more and rarer don’t take the religious road any more but the spiritual path.

Congratulations on the baby girl.. Children are amazing, im not a father but have 5 and 1 yr old neighbours.. they never fail at brightening one's day..

My opinion is that heaven and hell are both here on earth. it is easier to get to hell but the rewards of going into heaven are far greater, obviously.

I think rather than take the bad thing away it might be the plan to have it there so that the good may be better appreciated..Im being a bit of a hypocrit by saying this but i think the best thing to do is to focus on the good and stick with it, whatever that may be.

That is a very intelligent thought to have....the term hell is the old testament word for grave sheol it meant a seperation.
In much of the apocryapha there is the idea that people are only told this thing about eternal damnation in order to scare them into the right thing.
In judiasm there is not teaching of hell. This is a christian concept taken from an ancient jewish book called the book of Enoch which is still in print. Yeshua(Jesus) notable quoted from the book on many occassions according to the biblical accounts.
In reality the Creator used the only material available to make creation and the only material available was the Creator. There is a jewish saying
"Ha-Shem is G-D there is nothing besides G-D......" so then in essences the Creator would be punishing HIM/HERSELF.
Yeshua said that G-D was LOVE and then Paul teaches love bears all, then it would be out of the character of love to punish forever.
I too was raised to believe such things but as I studied outside of the christian propaganda I began to see the true nature of our Creator.
A parent may well be welling to take the life of it's child to protect the common good but no loving parent would ever torture that child endlessly.
Again quoting Yeshua(Jesus) " which of you if your child asked bread would give him a stone.................if you being evil give good things to your children............."
And with I rest my case.
