I had a question about the diffrent methods to contact a spirit guide. What are some, and do you have websites or resources that can describe them? Thank you

dowsing, automatic writing, meditation ect. Theres a ton of ways to do it. The way that i did it was i would just talk to my guide even if i didnt hear here talk back. |

Hi,
Ok, here's another handy dandy simple answer to a question that can be complex.
Best way is to: 1. to get into a meditative stance/trance, take deep breaths etc. 2. In your own words (as opposed to my words) ask " I know I have a guide, and I need a name to call you by".
If it doesn't work immediately try it again, however most people hear a name and scoff. As often the name is a character from a movie, the name of a realitive (often dead), or just sounds "too fictional to be real", just know that the name is real and is nothing more "than something to call this guide by".
3. Start talking to this guide by its name. Ask it questions that you would have no clue the answer to. (IE why do bad things happen to people who don't deserve it) Start conversing with it on an active basis, and no matter what, don't just say "Oh I'm just crazy, talking to myself" if that comes let it go.
For the logical/skeptics type of people out there (belive it or not I often tend to fall into this range), think of it this way. Even if it is just all pretend, what is the worst that is going to happen by you talking to yourself, and letting your imagination go wild. Think of it as nothing more than an experiment.
Anyhow, this is a basic guide. I'm sure there are plenty of other ideas out there.

Believe it or not your Spirit Guides are with you almost all the time, everyplace and everywhere they or you choose them to be. They can be at different places at one time, just like we exist on all different planes.
Often you might hear, or see things that strike you and you think about them...and then forget...or a recurring name or word...I found that the name that was constantly resounding in my head one time was actually the name of one of my Spirit Guides 
If you raise your vibration, it will make it easier for you to contact them but pretty much they are talking to you most of the time anyway....as in my case stress or doubtful phases in your life kinda impedes this 
A common way to contact is as has been said in the previous post, go into a meditative state...picture a beach, feel the breeze from the sea, hear the splash of the ocean, the warmth of the sand, and lean back against a palm tree, call out to your guide...
Done on a regular basis you will reach them! |

all the replies given have true value,
those spirit guide/guides 'talk' to everyperson, its just that fewer people
choose to open the lines of communication...you should find or determine
what is your individual natural ability, latent talent.
In my particular case, we could call the various internal guides as my connection to a
"Morphic Resonance", 'Universal Consciousness', or a 'Noosphere'...
perhaps even the 'Akashic Records' which Edgar Cayce
accessed during his trance-states.
Intention, including inspirations, even creative fictions,
which have the effect of transporting your world-conscious mind
into a non-ordinary reality state-of-mind, is a means of connecting
with spirit...
(as are tarot, astrology, mantras, yoga, poetry, and many-
many-many other sections of the electro-magnetic spectrum we use to communicate.)
Don't let the worldly-scientific-rationalists contaminate the thought-scape
with their value judgement, that your wasting your time in fantasy worlds.
