I would like to know what smoking cannabis does to the mind and soul. I've read enough about the physical effects, but I would like to know what it does on a deeper level. I've heard it attracts negative entities, even being around someone that is smoking. How does this work? Any input would be appreciated. Rolling Eyes

I think it mainly depends on the mindset of the individual, if you are negative then taking cannabis will enhance the anger within you, and possible attract a negative entity to that energy. On the other hand, if you are a positive person, you may derive a positive benefit from taking cannabis, which will supply DMT to the pineal gland re-enforcing the natural connection to the ethereal planes.

Thanks for the reply. I've never heard of the THC releasing DMT to the pineal gland. That would make alot of sense though. I've also heard the pot opens the Solar Plexus chakra. I'm mainly worried about the negative effects though. After taking it, during any time of the day, it seems that I cannot remember my dreams nearly as vividly, or as many of them, as a day I have not taken it. Any opinions on the topic would be appreciated.

From watching another, I did not notice any extra beings of positive or negative vibe. However, I did notice something which you might find interesting.

I noticed that his conscious and unconscious selves joined more, so he was a more cohesive whole. Although many might see this as good, I decided I didn't want it for myself. You see, although this brought some degree of clarity into his physical self which was cool, it simultaneously muddied his unconscious with the mentality of his conscious mind.

I need my unconscious to be as clear and light as possible for my energy workings, so after seeing that his unconscious self was plagued with his human worries and woes, I chose not to partake.

This cohesiveness did not revert to the previous divided state when he discontinued use more than two years ago.

That could be one of the contributors, if not the reason, I have a lot of self doubt, anxiety about certain things, etc. I'm not going to just blame it on the pot though. Do you know anything that might help reverse that?

Generally pot is known to dampen one's highs and lows. The agressive type A personality will mellow out, the quiet person will start talking. It seems to depend on what the pot is being used for, and what the person expects.

If you expect negative things to happen, then I would avoid the substance.

1.) Part of your conscious mind expects negative results because your unconscious mind knows things of which you are not aware.

2.) Your negative mindset will steer your experience toward a negative experience, whether or not it would have been negative otherwise.

I don't know how to reverse opening that door. I think it would just be a matter of conscious decision making, but you may just have to work with your new self as a person more open to conscious knowledge of the etheric realms. In which case, I would just start reading and learning what you can about that world.

Weed is not for everyone (weak of mind) but to those that employ it for magickal/alchemical/mental and spiritual uses it is a gem that was put on earth by the Source. It's a plant. It's used certain shamans and others worldwide for deeply spiritual uses and meditation.

That's about all i'll say on this topic.

When I do use it, I'm not expecting anything negative, nor do I have a negative experience. I try to just go with the flow, and not expect anything. Now, sometimes things of a negative nature may arise for me to deal with, making me feel uncomfortable, or I may slip into negative thinking which makes me feel bad, I don't see it as a negative experience. This all depends on what mood I'm in and my setting, the people, etc. That seems to affect just about every body with any drug though. I seem to feel 50/50 about it because other times I will have a wonderful, mind opening experience. I do feel like it has 'dampened' me though. Though this has happened, I must say it is a wonderful plant.

check it, from my experiance i've learned that what weed does is very simple, all it does is simply raises your body vibrations, what you get from it depends on your setting or mindset, also how you react to new sensations and whatnot. For example: when your high and one of your friends says something funny you laugh, but since your vibrations are so high you REALLY laugh, or when you get hungry your REALLY hungry. If your around some people that your not familiar with and you get high with them, things can get negative depending on how secure with yourself you are. if your the type thats got low self esteem and you kick it with some people that you don't know, sience your insecure already if you get high with them your vibrations will rise you'll get REALLY insecure and so on. once you know how it works its easy for you to control, if your in an insecure place and your high and you start to feel strange and kinda start cooking up worries and whatnot just remember that all you gotta do is change the way your thinking about things, if you succeed but still feel really strange negative vibes than its probably not coming from you, its very likely that its somebody else around you, thats when it can get kinda wierd too, cause their high as well as you so if your straight, and their not, you can feel it, sometimes it fills the room and it gets all awkward and whatnot. it all depends on the setting and how well you know yourself. so if you've got it under control it can be a very powerful tool. nowdays when i smoke i use it for spiritual growth, it can be very mind expanding and its great for manifestation, even healing. When you meditate you will even be able to feel the increased vibrations. Which is why sometimes you will get really tired or "burnt out" this is just from you overworking your mind, from having too much energy focused on one thing for too long. If this happens its good to ground your self, get moving. or you can even just focus and move the energy if it gets to be to much to bear. If you do this just move the energy from your head down to the Ming-Men which is located just on the back side of your body paralell to your navel and concentrate there, and that should do it.

I think the "positive" or "negative" effects weed might have is the way it was grown - if it was grown the good old organic way, with natural sunlight etc. then it will have more positivity connected to it, unfortunately nowadays it's very hard to get hold of weed grown in this way with most weed being grown under artificial light with all sorts of other nasties added to it which I really think is what causes psychosis and all other negative side-effects associated with weed.

I posted a topic in the "Other Mystical Wonders" category (http://www.mysticalwonders.org/group/about18743.html) where I described a very good experience I had using cannabis.

I agree with all previous replies. I didn't use it many times, but I learned that pot is not the problem. The problem is inside who uses it. Cannabis works like a great enhancer of energies by opening our chakras or portals to a deeper level where we can become conscious of our unconscious contents. It can be a gateway to transformation and manifestation of every thought. We can perceive other realities as if we were living in there, not just as on the mind level.

So, if we are not in harmony, certainly the experience using cannabis will not be so good as if we were balanced (body, emotions and mind aspects). It can be used as a great tool for healing also, even if we are not feeling secure. But, in this case, a master or someone able to conduct the ritualistic session should prepare the environment by protecting it, channeling subtle energy and filling it with good music, so everyone will be in the same frequency of thoughts. We can do this by ourselves, alone, but taking care of those points. Having no fear is a good way to transcend this common reality.

I see major of people using weed like cigars. I can't do the same. The state of trance starts automatically. I think this is due to the fact I'm used to meditate, and cannabis give me a boost.

And about the entities, some of our inner thoughts and feelings can behave as if they were external entities. I took much time thinking something/someone was with me during the trance, but, as Alice Norris of the ~Energyworkers~ said, it's a "junction of our conscious and unconscious selves". Feeling this is something we can't put into words.

I think that any aids used is self defeating. All the "supernatural" / Paranormal work we do must at best be unaided. Your consciousness cannot truly be growing if you use aids for you will not be growing in your inner temple. Unaided you use your own skills to reach altered states these inner workings will raise your consciousness/spiritual vibration naturally, whereas aids will only create altered state but not grow your consciousness to the levels it can truly achieve. Self Mastery is a powerful pathway to achieving heighten consciousness and awareness of the divine and using aids is useless on this pathway. There are no need for aids, if others can achieve results without aid then we all can.

I agree with you Messenger11. I always was against ANYTHING that would make a change or alter our state of consciousness, until I opened myself to experiment some sacred herbs when I was 25. So, I expanded my mind in ways I think I couldn't do by my own. I do meditation since my 15's, and never had such great transforming experiences as using those plants, but certainly the meditation practices were crucial to achieve such states.

And we don't loose our inner power by using them. It's not something you will do everyday, because such plants are great energy enhancers, and we need to have a physical and psychological structure, and preferable cleansed nadis, so we feel the power and effects of each herb/tea, wherever. They can teach us, like showing the same object we have in mind in other ways or point of views. We can learn with their daemons how to achieve these states without using herbs. I feel they awake us when we are prepared to receive new kind of ideas and to transcend our common reality. Of course I want to be able to put myself in the same state as they are capable to do, but I feel we have to have great abilities in manipulating energies, to make them stable for a time and direct them on correct chacras, absorbing them from mother nature and fill us continuously. I'm telling this based only on my observations during experiences I had, and the best ones were standing together with nature, in forests, mountains, and so on.

They showed me a reality I want to achieve here, in our physical world, and they taught me how to do this. Maybe you change your opinion if you use a sacred herb someday.

I would say that it varies from person to person. If someone is naturally a negative person I think it will bring out the worst. But for someone who is an overall positive person it should not affect you negatively.

That would probably depend on what thoughts will prevail, if you let the positivity do reign in your head then the outcome will be positive. I have also tried hemp protien poweder as this article
https://se.formulaswiss.com/blogs/superlivsmedel/de-manga-halsofordelarna-med-hampaproteinpulver says, cannabis has a lot of benefits in our body.
